Did I miss my LH surge - Ovulation tests

I am CD 14 today. And I usually ovulate at CD17. But I have been taking ovulation tests this month and I think I had my peak yesterday morning. It wasn't fully the same colour as the control line. But since them the test line has gotten liner. What do you think?
We tried to DTD a couple if times last week but got interrupted by our son waking up. And my husband only came back yesterday, so might have missed our chance. We did do it yesterday evening and this morning.
I am temping. But it takes 3 days to confirm ovulation and stupidly I missed a couple if nights last week.

Hello, I only just started LH testing, so I'm by no means an expert but I suspect your surge occurred on cd12 inbetween tests. So you possibly ov on cd13 or might ov today? So I wouldn't say you're out!

I tried testing at different times when the line started to get darker and I managed to pick up my peak (only tested on whim, surprisingly at 9pm). If you can, maybe increase the amount of tests?

Keep testing to see if you get a second surge, which I've heard is possible.

It looks like your peak started yesterday morning so probably peaked last night in which case ovulation would be today or thereabouts - if you can get in a BD today you probably aren’t out this month, you might actually be right on time! I would keep testing this month though in case it is a false peak which apparently can happen.

Thank you @Peach56 and @Crazydogladie

So I did another opk yesterday evening and this morning. And they keep getting gradually lighter. So I now do think that my LH surge was at some point midday on Tuesday. Which means I should have ovulated by now. I did have a very slight raise in temperature today and yesterday.
We did DTD again yesterday evening. So that was twice yesterday and the evening before. Small chance we just about caught it.
However I do normally feel ovulation cramping and get a migraine when my hormones change. This time nothing.
So I intend to continue testing with OPKs in case I failed to ovulated and my body tries to gear up for it again.
We are off to Devon tomorrow to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.
