Hi PInkgirl30. If you go and see your GP he/she will give you forms for a blood test to check if you are pregnant or not. The GP practice staff are talking nonsense.

been to docs today, got appt for 5.50 and he said what can i do for you?
"well" sez i "my period is a week late, shows no sign of starting and im a bit worried, its been every 28d since i was 18"
"lab urine test was a bfn" sez he
"lab urine test was a bfn with ds and my ep"
"well you have to be pg to have an ep" (had to restrain myself from throttling the wanker at this point)
"i know" sez i "but if i am pg then i am 5w. my tube ruptured at 6w4d"
"well what do you want me to do?"

"i cant, lab has gone"

lissielou sorry you have had such a terrible response from your GP, your words described him to a 'T', my advice would be to go directly to the EPU and tell them what has happened, you cant afford to wait and I'm sure that the women in the EPU wont turn you away, once they know what is at stake. If you dont get seen or sorted then tell them you are going directly to your MP to complain about the NHS and that you will take this to the media if anything goes wrong.Hopefully you wont have to take these steps and commom sense will prevail, good luck XX

lissie really dont think you can take any chances, not with only 1 good tube left! They should be taking you more seriously, and it would certainly be best if they were to find that you are not pregnant than another ep your only trying to protect what you have left and any person who is in the same boat as you would be acting and thinking the same as you are! You are being rational your period is much later than normal, may just be that the stress has caused you to ov late this month, but may be its not that! Don't take any sh**! XX
