Hi everyone.

Aunt Flo has reared her ugly head today, a few days later than my usual 30-33 day window too. This will be our sixth cycle of trying and I'm 32.

I was really disappointed so had the completely rational response (not really 🙃) of ordering £200 worth of home fertility tests (Hertility) and sensors (Ovusense) this morning before hubby even woke up. He's going to be one part amused and one part disappointed when he eventually stirs from his slumber.

Anyway, I'm looking for friends who are on this journey with me this month, tracking ovulation etc.

Going to try and be more positive this month. And if the gadgets don't work then who knows what I'll buy next month! How much is a baby? 😅

Good luck to us all!

I'm not there yet but AF will likely arrive Friday! I'm really, really fed up with my whole experience TTC so far... I just want to fall asleep and wake up with a baby!

I'm actually going to step back from my Mira as I already know I'm low on progresterone and I'm unlikely to conceive, I don't need the numbers making me feel negative! So I'm going to stick with clearblue and just dtd around smiley time!

Hey all, can I join?

I am hopefully a few days away from starting a new cycle. Had a miscarriage in my previous cycle so am a bit unsure on my dates, but hopefully af will show in the next few days (who'd have thought I'd be wishing for that!).

Just ready for a fresh cycle and start a fresh. Sending everyone baby dust xxx

Hey @moosey89 I know how you feel! I am so impatient and I keep trying to chill out but then find myself back on mumsnet scrolling the forums. How long have you been TTC? How did you find Mira for predicting ovulation?

Of course @rosecbrm hope you get your AF soon and can start fresh. Sorry to hear about your loss. How long have you been TTC?

@CatmumTTC thank you 🤍

We were really lucky in we fell pregnant the first month of properly TTC, so this will be our second cycle trying xx

@CatmumTTC bit of a complicated journey but was tryin 2.5 years with my ex, got pregnant but ended in missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. We actually ended up splitting not long after. I believe I also had a chemical because my cycle was always super regular and one month I was 5 days late but never took a test, then af arrived. Every other month my cycle was always 27-29 days.

This time round I've been off contraception for 18 months with my new partner but we're not massively sexually active and were trying 6 months before I got pregnant but ended in missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. This is cycle 2 post miscarriage.

Mira seems really quite accurate - I had day 21 bloods done, and used clearblue OPKs and everything matched up! So seems reliable. Unfortunately it also seems to confirm I'm not necessarily ovulating regularly so I'm biting the bullet and booking a private fertility consultation. I've got referrals for NHS miscarriage clinic and fertility clinics (miscarriage clinic is booked for 27 Nov but fertility clinic will likely be a way off and I don't want to wait!)
