Can pregnancy symptoms be psychosomatic?

Does anyone think that the want of having a child can actually make you feel the symptoms? At 8 DPO I have been vomiting a couple of time the last few days and wondering if the metallic taste in my mouth is real or not. Maybe it is a stomach bug?

At Am I going crazy? I think maybe I need a holiday from TTC soon before I am even more obsessed. This month has been difficult mentally.

Absolutely - I think we will ourselves to be pregnant so much that we either imagine symptoms, or we do genuinely feel things but they are just normal ups and downs, twinges etc. We're just hyper aware and trying to find any little sign that we've been successful that month!

Exactly! I am hyper aware of my tongue and how metallic it is feeling, and I think I am going crazy 😂
