Implantation and how long to get a BFP

If you felt what you thought was implantation happen. How many DPO were you, and how long after did you get your first positive.?

I think I felt it around 10-11 DPO. Faint positive 14 DPO, strong positive about a week later. Hence why I do not get people testing at 7 DPO!

With my previous pregnancies I felt something around 6-8dpo and then got a positive test on day 10.

I'm sure I've had implantation cramps these last few days, but am dpo 12 today with another BFN. I know I should be patient and wait, but I can't 😅
And I also know it's possibly still too early. Your post below has given me hope @PinkRoses1245
Had an early miscarriage last month but we started trying again immediately

Implantation happens 6-12 dpo (most common on 8,9 and 10dpo) with base hcg between 0.1 and 5. So when you can get a positive varies so much. Most people also don't feel Implantation at all, or may feel something similar but unrelated.

I felt an electric shock type jolt, like I was stuck with a cattle prod in the uterus, on the right side, that radiated slightly towards the centre in a straight line. Felt this on 5dpo (could have been 6dpo if I ovulated day of peak not day after). Also had quite bad ovary cramps on the right around 8 or 9dpo. Either could have been implantation, or just unrelated. I ovulated from the left (based on ovulation pain)

Stark negative on 10dpo, v v faint positive on an early test on 13dpo. Clearer but still faint on 15dpo, clear positive and digital positive 16dpo.

9+3 now.

On 8dpo i started to get ready for work and had this awful period type pain. The pain I usually get when I'm on my second day and really heavy on period. So i went back to the toilet to check and no blood. So carried on getting ready. The pain lasted around 10-15 mins then disappeared. I had nothing else the rest of the day, apart from a bit of back ache in the evening. I'm hoping that may have been it. I tested this morning at 9dpo and nothing, not even a hint.

If it was implantation cramps on 8dpo, it'll take at least two days for a positive to show on a test. I think the general advice is waiting 5-6 days after implantation bleed. Best of luck ☺️

I had some light cramps on 6dpo and tested positive at 9dpo.

@DB1183 on average it will take 2-7 days after implantation to show on an early (10miu) test.

This assumes base beta hcg between 1 and 5 with hcg doubling every 48 hours.

If your base beta hcg is under 1, or hcg doubles closer to 72 hours (still considered nkrmal), it may take longer.

Well fingers crossed. I will test again tomorrow morning. If no hint of a line i will wait till i will be due which is 13dpo

@PinkRoses1245 im so glad I read this thread! I’ve had cramps from 9-11dpo, only light and more to the left. From reading everyone who gets BFP at 9dpo I’ve found myself very disheartened with my BFN. If AF comes then it’s on to next month but for now I need to just relax and enjoy the what ifs ✨

I did. Just like my previous pregnancies I got a BFP at 10dpo (it was totally negative at 9dpo).

Test this morning bfn but appreciate implanted yesturday I probably woukdnt get one yet.

I no I should wait a few days but its so hard I will no doubt test tomorrow morning ...period due in 2,3 days

I got my positive on 11dpo. After what i thought was implantation cramps at 8dpo. Im now 16dpo and line is getting stronger, although now feel like i have thrush.
