Hi

I am ttc number 2. This is only my first cycle of trying. I have an irregular cycle so predicting ovulation is tricky. However I feel incredibly pregnant even though I can only be 7-10 days post conception (if I have conceived). I have sore boobs all the time, need to wee more, have less of an appetite and mood swings. I had exactly the same symptoms in the 2WW when I conceived my son (now 23 months and also conceived first cycle) and thought I was imagining things until I got the BFP! Can you really have symptoms this early? Anyone else had this experience? I was so incredibly lucky to conceive my son first attempt, could I be so lucky again?

In short, yes

By the week your period is due (so about now for you) you can get pg symptoms.

If you are looking out for them they will be more obvious. But also, if you are hoping to be pg sometimes your mind can play funny tricks on your body and you may experience symptoms even if you aren't pg!

You deffinately can sometimes. I found out I was expecting no. 4 on mothersday. By one week after conception I had already gained 1/2 st and my belly and boobs and exploded in size so much none of my bras or trousers fitted!!! Luckily it has all calmed down down now, (one day after period due) so I guess I just got a huge rush of hormones early. While I showed early with no. 1 I do not remember feeling things berfore period due.

Try an early test to put your mind at rest.

Good luck

My first bfp I knew about at least 1 week before af was due as I went off the taste of red wine - dh was wondering what was wrong when he kept on getting given hardly started glasses of wine. However, if you're being good and not having any alchohol, bit difficult to find out if this works for you too. [btw, had resigned myself to IVF so was having one last month not completely on the wagon, honest! ]

I got some really good and cheap simple pregnancy tests from a web sight, I think called Access Diagnostic. I got some ultra early one's and they worked for me and much cheaper, helping you not feel so guilty about spending money on another test. They are just thin strips of cardboard (but obviously fancier!) good luck!

Well I've recently had my third child and was so convinced I was pregnant that I did 3 tests before I got a positive. For each pregnancy I could tell within a few days - especially with my boobs, they started to change colour, get bigger and sore at least a week before my period was due. I also felt incredibly tired within a few days of conception. Real tell-tale sign was little dots of milk when I had a little squeeze to check if I really could be preg!
