Impryl or Proxeed Plus for low morphology and low motility

My husband has borderline low motility (29%) and low morphology (3%). He's been on Impryl for 3 months, we've been trying for 5. However reading more on MN it seems that quite a few people had success on Proxeed Plus.

Would love to hear other people's experience with either Proxeed Plus or Impryl! What was your motility / morphology before taking, did it improve and how soon?

Probably not really helpful but my husband had very similar results - we've started omega 3s, Coq10 and proxeed from today! i'll update in 8 weeks when we retest!

My husband's results in June were not good at all. He's been on Proxeed since end of June, so just over 3 months now. His recent results show improvement in his morpholgy despite still being super low!

In June it was 0.8% morph, last week it was 1.5% morph.
Motility hasn't changed.

But still, it's an improvement! They do say to take it for 6 months so we shall see if it improves further :)

My husband had another sperm sample so when I get results will share. Keen to see what difference proxeed made

Well, Hubby went to a urologist due to a few aches down there and it turns out he had a varicocele which needed removed. We think this could be the culprit to his low sperm quality.

He only had it removed last month so we won't know for another couple of months if it's made a difference.

Has your husband checked for a varicocele just out of interest?

Thanks for getting back to me!

He had his sperm sample done again last week after September test.
He didnt change much else but took Proxeed religiously twice a day.

His count was slightly less but well above the 15 million so was 35 million in sept vs 32 million now.

His motility was 36% in sept and is now 42%

His morphology (Normal forms) was 3% and now 4% so has made low results in the normal range.

We've got next steps and will be trying clomid/letrozole before going down IUI and then IVF but were going take step by step and hopefully wont need IVF,

@FernaFrey Hey I know this is an older thread but would you mind sharing if removing the varicocele made a difference?

I got pregnant 1 month after my husband started taking impryl & coq10 (low motility, rest of it fine). We'll never know if this is what worked in the end, but I highly suspect it is!

wanted to come back and update- if anyone else reads this thread - we are now pregnant (currently 15w) so think the proxeed and vitamins worked :)
