Painful Implantation Cramps?

Has anyone had painful implantation cramping? or painful cramping in early pregnancy? Know its probably AF on the way, but trying to stay positive as only other symptom is nausea and have been sick a few times. Currently, 12-14 DPO, last test at 10-12dpo was negative and wanted to wait to see if AF arrived. First cycle since a MMC end of July so dates are all a bit mixed up and don't actually know when AF is due, now 7 weeks since ERPC.

I had cramps from 9dpo until 13dpo, tested on day 14 and got a bfp. Until then I’d been convinced each day my period was about to start as it felt exactly the same, although mostly they were fairly mild cramps. I didn’t test before 14dpo though, so I don’t know whether I’d have tested positive then or not.

Thanks for responding. It's no worse than period pain I've had before, but definitely worse that the descriptions I've read and would usually have taken paracetamol before now. That's given me some hope that maybe a bfp could still be on the cards.

I’m waiting to test on Monday that’s if AF doesn’t appear. I have been getting on/off cramps and nausea this week. I don’t usually get nausea with my period, doubt I’m that lucky to get BFP though. Every twinge I’m dreading it’s my period.

Hi We are in a similar boat. I think I was due on yesterday, i had a tiny amount of pink cm yesterday snd was sure that was the start. But I’ve had nothing since.
I’ve had a bad headache all day which is usually an indication I’m just about to come on.
im checking the toilet paper every time I go toilet… it’s so difficult not to get stressed!

Just tested and BFN think my period will come today 😩

My confusion continues, so yesterday morning AF seemed to have arrived in full force, but only lasted for 1/2 a day and has now stopped. Also just did a test and got a BFN. Confused...

@Carrie97 Sorry you didn't get a positive, but see how the day pans out, still not out.

I did a test when I got home from work - negative. But it wasn’t the first urine if the day.
I must be nearly two days late. No sign of it. I’m constantly thinking and checking.
the day before I was due I had pink tinged discharge- then it went straight away. Nothing since.
now this seems odd but my eye has been twitching on and off for days, I hear this can be a sign. Related to hormones or something. My eye never twitches like this.

my husband said next you will fart and think that is a symptom… 😆 he doesn’t understand!

@LAP85 sounds like a chemical pregnancy perhaps. So you kind of were but it ended incredibly early on. If so, sorry and good luck for next time.

@40andtrying1 hahaha little does he know that gas can also be a sign! Not heard of eye twitching before but sounds promising. Will you test again in the morning? What test have you used?

I wasn't entirely sure when I was due because of MC, but it would makes sense as I got a positive OPK on the 31st. Still nothing further, but generally feel a bit crappy.

@Sueretiredawhileago yeah guess it could have been, missed testing a few days so also could have missed if a test could have picked it up. Would that mean a very short heavy bleed?

Haha yes that is true! But I sadly don’t have a windy bottom ☹️
i will test tomorrow morning first urine. I work at night, sleep-in nights so I must remember to take a pot with me.
Ive been using pound-shop test strips, I hear they are just as affective but I’m not sure. I don’t want to waste money on a digital test until a week late.
Which ones are you using?

I've been using easy@home ICs for the same reason, and got my positive at 9dpo using them last time.

Frustrating when there isn't much you can do but wait, trying to distract myself without much success.

I’ve just started my period. So I’m out this month. I really did think I may be pregnant, even worked out my due date.

I’m out too, another BFN this morning and a bit of spotting. Just need to decide if I speak to the docs about why my flow was only half a day after all the cramps and waiting 7 weeks. I’m sure they’ll just say to wait and see what happens next month. 😩

apparently I ovulated on the 4th.

Yes I had spotting at 9 dpo and a couple days before period, I assumed it may be implantation. never had that before…why is my body playing tricks on me. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Let’s hope they can offer me something.

ive just started to try, I’m 40 so worried it won’t happen and I shouldn’t of started.

it may not take so long for you… i would suggest getting fertility test (blood test) from your GP… as this will save a lot of time. Then if you need assistance in getting pregnant you can start the process sooner. X

I ovulate quite early so its back to the two week wait for me 😬

The doctor is going to refer me to a consultant at the hospital. For a scan etc. I wonder how long the waiting list is? Is it worth paying privately? I did look into it.
I am due to ovulate any day… DTD yesterday and hope to today. Then hopefully in the day and say after. 💓

I have been taking Coq 1 the last 7 days and I don’t know if it is connected but, I think I’m ovulating from my left ovary. I never ovulate from the left, the pain is always on the right side.
Tonight - pain in my left ovary, cramping etc.
Do you think the new tablets have awakened my left ovary? Lol

Thats good you got a referral, my doctor was quite reluctant because we hadn't reached a year yet. I've been looking into private clinics (mainly to feel like I'm doing something) but it's so hard to figure out how you choose between them. I'm in London but seems to be around £500 for a scan for follicle counting and AMH blood tests.

I've never knowingly felt ovulation pain, but have been taking a supplement with Coq10 in, started taking it just before we got pregnant last time, so feel like it does make a difference, although could of been a coincidence. My partner is taking one too.

How are you feeling today? Do you think you've ovulated now?

Yes I did tell the doctor I had previous miscarriages. I had a letter from the hospital and they want me to have a blood test to check for chlamydia, there words were - they need to check my chlamydia status. I hope I’m negative, I have been with my partner for 7 years, neither of us has had any symptoms.

I believe I ovulated yesterday, in the end I had pain in both ovaries… twins? Lol doubt it, be lucky to get one.

we DTD day before and day of.. will try and DTD tonight. Hopefully that will be enough.
