Joining the TWW train tomorrow! First month trying for our first. Have been using the Premom app and LH sticks daily as I only came off the pill six weeks ago. Peaked yesterday. Trying to do BBT but I'm laughably incompetent at it. How about everyone else?

I’m in the TWW and already obsessing and fantasising about being pregnant. 2 dpo for me. Been trying for a year but struggled with absent periods after taking the pill for so long. I finally got a real period a few weeks ago and definitely ovulated.

Heya! I'm 2 or 3 dpo today, this is my first cycle using progesterone pessaries after ov, am feeling hopeful! Once insurance approves it will be doing IUI if this cycle doesn't work, but clinic gave me progesterone to try this month as it was looking like I was definitely going to ovulate (as of a scan and bloods a few days ago!).

I'm going to test next week as I have one nice test left, and OH has a significant birthday only a couple of days before AF is due so I'm really hoping that a little baby sticks around as a fantastic bday present 🥰

Ah good luck to everyone! I am now 4 days po. Getting nervous. I have a DD but we had been told we'd never conceive naturally so never tried and she was a bit of a mid IVF miracle. We are actually starting in a better position than we were then so fingers crossed i am hopeful. But we do have some frozen eggies if this doesn't work.

Was very busy over the weekend so kept me occupied but now I am feeling the stress. My bil and sil announced they're 13 weeks this weekend. Means my sister, my bil and my best friend all had their babies first try. I dunno it really makes me anxious. I know due to the issues it may take a long time but I just always fantisied about this month I dunno why.

Hi all, im on my second month of trying after an mc in feb. I had my positive opk on friday.... also sat and negative sunday. Temperature drop this morning (mon) so not really sure what day i ovulated 😅 im new to OPKs and bbt 🤪
Dtd thurs fri and sat so fingers crossed!

@Reen18 Such a wide margin of error with BBT, hopefully you caught it regardless!

3DPO here. First month trying so not getting our hopes up. Showed DH the cost of baby travel systems the other day and his eyes didn't fall out, so he's getting excited.

Thanks. I am stressing a bit about my lutal phase though as realised it's only about 9 days long. I mean I think it was even shorter with my daughter but I wasn't testing then. Fingers crossed it will be ok.

I was getting some cramps last night which would be day 5 so fingers but I probably just ate something bad lol

Cramps can also lead to a BFP! My last pregnancy I thought i had gotten my period and found out 3 days later i was pregnant! It ended in mc at 9+6 but nevertheless had no idea I was pregnant!

I dont think 9 days is the end of the world. My Gynae and I were discussing how its really can be a negative thing that we all know so much these days! It causes us to stress more so try not to worry.... the baby thats meant for us will find a way come hell or high water 💓

@CTak thank you! So far the bbt is showing me what I needed to see i.e. ovulation so it definitely is interesting but as you say its not 100%. My partner leaves for 9 days this week and so im curious to see if the temperature changes without his body heat. One night he was away a couple of weeks ago it dropped lol and i was thinking it was ovulation!

@Reen18 xD I know exactly what you mean. My DH is a renewable heat source too - could power a small town with the heat he throws off.

6DPO today. Have some light cramping and feel a bit nauseous. Was up three times during the night to wee. I know these are symptoms of implantation but I'm trying not to get my hopes up!

How are you getting on now @CTak ? Any more progression? Fingers crossed for you all 🤞

Im 6 dpo and feel poorly. Razor blade sore throat and stuffy sinusy head and mild cramping. Sometimes I play down the cramping as it can be digestive! Hard for me to distinguish the two!

How is everyone else getting on?

@Reen18 8DPO now, still having symptoms and getting impatient to test! Trying to hold off till Thursday which will be 12DPO but that's assuming unlikely levels of self-restraint!

Sounds like you're coming down with something... Have you done a Covid test? The new variant seems to really give the throat a battering. Hopefully whatever it is you're not too laid under with it. Curious as you're now 6DO... have you had any vivid dreams?

Last month I had vivid dreams, i had niggly pinchy cramps, i was out of breath... you name it and I wasnt pregnant. Last time I was pregnant I actually developed a cold first, sore throat and sinus etc. I then bled so assumed I had gotten my period. About 4 days later I was with my GP trying to understand why I was so fatigued as he had told me i has a virus and it was my mum who said do another test and tadaaa it was a positive! Everything can be anything!

The opks and bbt are all new to me. So im quiet interested in seeing how my body works. My flo app calculated that im 8 dpo today based on my rising bbt. So lets see. Trying to be grounded as I felt like a fool last month when I made everything into a symptom and it wasnt 😔

Only 2dpo for me so juat starting the tww 😪its agonising month 2 for me. I'm 37 so feel times against me

@Reen18 🙈Sod's law. And early pregnancy and pre-period symptoms being a remarkably similar malarky is just marvellous. Same here on the opks and bbt measuring... always had an irregular cycle so will be interesting to see what actually goes on down there!

@CTak My groundedness isnt going so well.... ive watched about 4 youtube (and counting) videos on bfp at dpo 9 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Reen18 😂If we're confessing sins, I did two cheapies today knowing they'd show nothing. Then I went to Tesco and spent £28 on ClearBlue early detection tests that I may or may not have to pee on tomorrow.

And hey, at least if it is Covid you don't have to push anything out!

Well @CTak ... I may have also done one easy at home strip at 8pm .... pee was totally diluted as I had just peed within the hour lol.... on top of it being 8 dpo.... just to entertain myself lol

Today I did feel a familiar wave of kinda nausea but it was so slight and I was so busy at work Im not sure if im imagining it. Tomorrow morning im going to avoid eating to truly test if its real.
I also have some cramping but again could be period cramps and just feel fatigued. Oh and the thirst! Couldnt quench it yesterday!

Those symptoms sound promising. They better not be lying. I too have some cramping.

Your partner is a scoundrel for abandoning you during the TWW. My husband probably wishes he went with him as I've just made him do an opk!! 0.10 T/C ratio - higher than expected!!

Thankyou yours too. .but I no it will drag last month I swear I had every symptom going def thought I was pregnant...this month I'm not focusing on anything..

It's so hard tho but hopefully we get out bfs soon
