I did. For one cycle!
I was having a monthly period but was getting ewcm from around cycle day 7 until 14 and had strange pains that weren't normal ovulation pains. I started taking the q10 and the month I started, was the first month my ovulation felt back to normal and I got pregnant straight away. Was 38.

Baby is a toddler now. Perfect in every way!

Yes, this is highly recommended by a lot of the American fertility doctors along. When I conceived our first I was taking the recommended 900mg a day which is typically 3 tablets, 2x vital DHA supplements a day of 450mg each and a bumper 400ug high strength folic acid.

We convinced first try and we’re just about to try for our second and I’ve been taking the above for 3 months in preparation.

Hey @worldwidetravel2017
I've been taking Q10 since the new year.
To to be honest, every consultant I've spoke to told me not to waste my money as theres absolutely nothing that has scientifically been proven to improve egg quality, especially q10 but I still take it anyway. I like to feel like im at least doing something .

This is interesting I’m gonna look into this vitamin too thanks 😊

bstrong0805 · 17/09/2023 19:34

Been taking it for 2 years when TTC for our second - not pregnant yet but I still continue taking it

pinklauren · 17/09/2023 19:44

My fertility clinic advised me to take this for egg quality (well, they actually advised ubiquinol which is a form of q10 that is easier for the body to absorb. It's quite expensive).

I've been taking it for 2 years and in that time I've had 4 pregnancy losses so it hasn't exactly been a resounding success for me.

I'm still taking it though just in case it has been helping me to conceive (we'd been trying for several years before that). We also have sperm quality issues so that may also be a factor in our losses).

I'm 37.

Torganer · 17/09/2023 19:45

Have been taking since January. No success yet!!

Oldermum84 · 17/09/2023 20:13

Worked for me, along with starflower oil (don't take the starflower oil after ovulation).

I am taking it- interested to know if you’re taking DHEA? In the book you mention it seems to imply that it should only be taken on prescription/ under a doctor, is that what you understand as well?

111111111a · 25/09/2023 00:07

Make sure you take a decent one though.

Q10 by biocare microcell c0q10 100mg x 3 a day.

Or Ovoenergen by ovaterra

Or vesisorb ubiquinol-qh q10 by igennus 100mg X3 day.

I took dhea I bought online and had a disastrous round.

I then had a better doctor who actually bothered to test my levels and took a prescription only one under supervision and had a much better round.

I would not fuck about with testosterone without a blood test.

Tigger1116 · 25/09/2023 01:42

@worldwidetravel2017 thanks for the reply my levels all seemed ok and Vit D I take a separate tablet so all ok there I haven’t read the book no I will look for it and I’m going to get some Q10

Totalwasteofpaper · 25/09/2023 02:31

I took coQ10 and conceived my first in 4 months at 37 and 2nd first time at 39.

However, I do have a good family history of fertility on one side of the family (other side is horrendous/very sad) so maybe I just take after them.

bw90210 · 27/02/2024 18:26

Hey all

Does anyone have a brand of CoQ10 to recommend in the UK? I keep googling "best coq10 uk" and variations of it but all I get are pages and pages of brand-written posts with lists of the best ones with theirs on top, of course. Would like to have a genuine opinion of someone who used it and actually felt different (it's supposed to give you more energy too)

SuperGreens · 27/02/2024 20:15

I took Pharma Nord Bio-Quinone Active Q10 Gold 60 Capsules from amazon for long covid and thought they helped.
