Pain and cramps in lower abdomen

Pain and cramps in lower abdomen for the last few days and pain in what feels like my ovary. I'm ttc and due my AF in 6 days. Could this be implantation? This is potentially my 5th pregnancy and I already have 2 children but never experienced this before. I had no signs whatsoever previously other than missed AF. I will be doing a test next week IF my AF doesn't show her face but just so curious!

I had a lot of twinges and like pulling sensation for my first for the first couple of weeks of pregnancy. I read it’s the uterus stretching.

but to answer your question I’m 12 DPO and I have some dull pains that feel a bit like a dull AF pain about a week after ovulation so could be implantation! Fingers crossed. Im still getting some now so could be AF or hoping it’s pregnancy 🤞🏻 I remember it was the same first time round.

It definitely could be! I got my BFP on Saturday (14 DPO) but I’d been having cramps since 9 DPO which felt exactly like I was about to start my period. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@OopsieeDaisy can I ask what your BFP really strong on 14 DPO? With my first I took one at 14 DPO it was strong but took one today at 12 DPO and completely negative so I’m guessing AF will be arriving this week (due tomorrow)

Some people just don't get a bfp until after their AF is due so don't lose hope yet. My last pregnancy I tested a day before AF was due and negative, tested 2 days later (day after AF due) and it was the strongest bfp ever. Good luck

I'm 9dpo today but been having these pains and cramps from at leave 5-6dpo so hoping it isn't my AF getting ready. Not due AF until Sunday but the wait is driving me mad. I just want to know what these pains and cramps mean either way.

I need to stop comparing it to my first as well, I keep thinking everything will be the same. Since having her as well my cycle has changed so it maybe me testing slightly later than I did. I’ll test tomorrow then wait till weekend to see it AF arrives!

When are you thinking of testing? You holding out till weekend?

At first I compared both my baby's pregnancies early on then realised how completely different every single pregnancy is so I stopped. People forget they're older than their last pregnancy too which can cause differences. I have everything crossed for you! My AF is due Sunday so I will probably hold out until Monday to test if I don't get AF. Today the pain has slightly moved into my hip/groin and my lower back, it's still crampy in my lower abdomen too! Just such a long wait to find out if it's AF or pregnancy.

My pains are cramps were early miscarriage

If in any doubt & if youve had multiple positive tests - id ask to get your hcg looked at / checked

@TheCoffeeMrsAndMama you’re completely right! All pregnancies are different and It’s not over till AF shows! Although I do feel like mine arrive this week, I’m in a terrible mood today!! And still some pains. Weekend feels like forever doesn’t it! 😫

@worldwidetravel2017 i don’t think there’s been any positive tests yet.

I'm with you all on this, I'm 11 or 12 DPO today and AF due on Friday. Feeling very crampy which is odd as I don't usually get anything until CD1.

I could of course be imagining it - sends you bloody mad this doesn't it!!

@YewTree84 I do feel slight crazy with this trying for a baby malarkey 😂 I’m the same with imagining it all 😂 I’m in a foul mood today so I really do think period is going to show it’s face soon. I think when you’re around the 11/12 DPO we are it’s the worst! Cause it’s that middle time from ovulation/implantation/waiting for period/or to test.
Defo sends you mad!! 😂

@Mama09876 No it wasn’t a really strong line, although it was only on an internet cheapie as that’s all I had in - I’ll try uploading a photo. I did a CB digital afterwards to confirm because the line was actually much paler than my previous pregnancy.
