Just can't deal with this every month advice please

My husband has had two tests which have come back low morphology, we've been trying to over two years and now know that it could take a very very long time to happen naturally if it can at all. But there's still a possibility which makes me feel like it's happening every month, I literally torment myself and think could it be happening. This month I am two days late, I had brown spotting Friday and then that usually follows the next day with a full flow. Yesterday I had a lighter brown discharge and again nothing since then. I am on cycle day 29 today my cycles usually range from 25 to 28 days so it's not like I am really late or anything but I am actually a few days late. But because I know my husband's morphology is low I don't want to torment myself by getting a test because I know it's just not gonna happen to us naturally, but then it still very much could. Have any of you had this spotting and then it's stopped completely?

It does sound like it could be implantation bleed, but I completely understand your reluctance to test. Sending positive thoughts to you

The heartbreak every month is horrible, isn't it? I'm not going to tell you to relax or try acupuncture or reflexology, because none of those things will directly help you get pregnant. It's been 18 months for me, so I'm not too far behind you. My DH has a low count and IVF so far hasn't worked, though we have conceived naturally twice without help (all lost early), so it can happen even with a low count. If you're too afraid to test now, I suggest to give it a week and if still no bleed in that time, take a test. Low morphology isn't too much of a concern, it's the count and progressive motility which are the important parameters.

Hi Ladies, I'm also in the same boat I'm afraid. 22 months of ttc, my husband has a good sperm count and motility but his morphology was less than 1%. The fertility doctor didnt seem too bothered by that though as the count is there and apparently morphology is done by eye with a sample of sperm. I am also in my tww and on 12dpo (af due tomorrow) but have had brown spotting for 3 days now which isnt giving me much hope. This journey is so damn hard! Sending love! Xx

Thank you all for your comments. Still no period in site, day 30 of my cycle today, no signs of period but I guess I am getting the off crampy feel which could be it starting, my boobs are sore but no different to what I always have before my period is due. So I will leave it until 7 days if I get to that. I just honestly have NO hope I guess you give up after so long don't you
We have now been referred for NHS fertility help so at least that might make us feel more positive. I am sorry you're also going through this it's just so rubbish. Low morphology is the way the swim or the shape isn't it so if they don't swim up they won't ever catch the egg?

@Rockyslife morphology means their appearance, as in how well formed they are. A lot of sperm are immature, ie no tail or tiny underdeveloped head or even two heads. How well they swim is progressive motility.

Ah I hear you. Yeah my temp dropped today so that usually signals the lovely aunt flow....still dealing with brown blood though which is annoying.
I'm glad you've got your referral in. Weve done bloods, semen sample, ultrasound and I've been put on levothyroxine for my thyroid but still nothing is happening. Currently awaiting the hsg (fallopian tube test) and then hopefully we'll be added to the IVF waiting list. Never ever thought we'd be in this position but I guess no one ever does. It's hard to stay sane through it all xx

Ah I haven't ever tried to take my temperature so I can't even do this to work it out. I am 4 days late now but crampy, so, but no sign of any blood yet. Making me think could that spotting of been a messed up period or something 😂

Op do you have any updates? Hope you are not still in limbo
