How very dare my period be late if I am not pregnant. I am very cross with it.

It is 2-3 days late. It is never this late.
It is our first month trying to conceive DC2.
I have had a BFN today and on Wednesday.
Why on earth would my period decide to arrive later than ever before, on the month I start TTC, if I am not pregnant????
Where is it??????

you situation is just like mine cant beleive it
i am on cd 34 today did come off pill though jan 23rd
it is my first month of trying for baby n.o 2
i had a bfn today and a week tom on cd 28
i am left wondering too!!!!
we will stick together artichokes keep me posted i will do the same

we can both pray for bfps
i am hoping that hcg level just not picked up
if i was pregnant would be 5 wks
didnt find out till i was 7 wks with first and did test when i would have been 5 wks was bfn
it is not over till the fat lady sings

Argh - sympathies. I had this in Jan. Spent about £30 on pg tests before period turned up four days late. Bah. Evil Aunt Flo! Hope you have better luck!

We keep running into each other on these threads PinkGirl. Lets keep each other company.

Isn't it just the most frustrating thing?
After today's BFN I promised myself I would stop grasping at straws and admit to myself that I am clearly not pregnant.

However, only 20 mins after the test I was complaining to DH about how the fridge smells and he was insisting he could not smell a thing and suggesting that I had an over sensitive nose. Of course as soon as he said that I immediatley thought "oooh, that is a pregnancy symptom, maybe the test was wrong". So much for beleiving the test and getting on with things.

I just wish AF would arrive. Now. Right now.

I know exactly how you feel.
I started ttc in August last year and as I started my cycle went awol.
It was absent for 3 months in all causing me to carry out loads of pregancy tests.

The reason was a underactive thyroid now on mediaction and cycle has returned.

My doctor did once say that the stress of ttc can delay your af and the body can go into a false sense of pregnancy.

Maybe I am imagining the waves of nausea.

they say that you can get a negative negative so heres crossing fingers for noth of us
i have had tingly boobs,cramps,forgetfulness and weeing more often

Any news from you. AF finally arrived here so as least I know what is happening now. Still frustrating though.

i still have no af cd 36
testing in morning if she doesnt get me before then.
hope you are having a nice mothersday.
my 2 and a half year old daughter chose me a lovely pooh bear card,chocolate lindt reindeer and lovely cat book plus sock set and mum balloon.

Hi, I was worrying that AF was late again this month, last month it was very light, practically non-existanct. As no sign of AF this month, I did think I might be P, but did a test and got BFN. Don't know what to make of it all. I certainly don't feel pregnant, so am inclined to believe the negative test. I hate going to the doctors, but if still no sign of it this week, I shall have to go see and speak to a medic.

Interesting about the under-active thyroid Pinkgirl, did you have any other symptoms relating to your thyroid?

Sorry to hear that pinkgirl. I hope you get some news one way or another very soon. Are you still getting symptoms that make you feel pregnant?

Glad you had a nice mothers day. My 18 month old DD had made me a card (with a little help!) and Dh bought me breakfast in bed and some lovely flowers. So that all made up for the AF.

I am going to organise some acupucture this month as I did that when TTC DD and got pregnant the same month .

Not feelin so good today, seem to be havin a heavier more painful period than usual, to add insult to injury as i was hoping to be pregnant! I feel really today as i keep thinking about life without trying for another DC, but am just to scared to broach the subject with DH! wot about you, any sign of AF yet? Any more possible PG symptoms? xx

Feeling much better today, decided to wait a few months before i bring up the subject with DH about TTC!

Still no sign, wot r u thinking, do you think you'll come on, or do you feel pregant, when did you do your last HPT? x

not sure to be honest trying not to get too exciting about the fact that i could b pregnant as i know that pill can mess up cycles came off it jan 23rd.
don't feel as if i am coming on as not moody or crampy.
did last test on monday testing this mon

sorry to jump in but ive seen a few of your posts and thought i would tell you my story although it is slightly different.

I had the coil removed last march as i felt like i needed a clear out not to ttc. Anyway i had a few brown wipes about 3 days later lasting for around 3 days which i presume was withdrawel bleed. Days passed and no af, weeks passed and still no af but i knew i couldnt be pg as we were using other protection. Unknown to me something went pearshaped and i got my bfp in july! 4 months after my coil removal. Unfortunatly i miscarried at 10 weeks. I bled for exactly a week and after the initial "loss" it was quite light.

That was september the 11th, we then decided that we would ttc as we had got our head around the idea of another LO.

I didnt get my bfp till 30th november and did not have af inbetween. Im not moaning as i realllllly hate afs!

i think my body is making up for it now though as at 16 weeks gone i have a haematoma and have heavy bleeds nearly every night

anyway what im trying to say is...

erm i dont know actually just thought i would tell you my story lol but try not to drive yourself mad with it, i had every symptom going between september and november because i wanted them so made sure i felt something so i could convince myself i was pregnant although i wasnt aware of it iyswim. when i did actually get my bfp i had no symptoms at all and still havent!

Hi, I liketosleep, have read your post, and wondering, what coil did you have. Was it normal or a hormone one. I had my normal coil removed in October, had AF Nov Dec, but just a smear of brownish blood in Jan, same again Feb, and even less March. I did HPT and was -ive, and have not any symptoms of Preg so to speak, so just not sure what to think! I may go the GP for a check up, but not got round to it yet.

it was a mirena coil, the one that stops your af. I had it for 4 years and had no af and then had no af since it was taken out so i know that since march last year i have only ovulated twice and caught twice thanks to dps super sperm lol. I never thought of going to the docs as i didnt think he could do anything to be honest. Suppose i will see what happens after this one is born as i want the coil fitted again when s/he is about 10 weeks. So should have about 2 afs by then.
