Yes I had lots of cramps like I was going to start period any minute for a few weeks

I experienced it with my first, to the point that I had a very hot bath and a couple of glasses of wine because I thought it was my period coming (I'd tested negative earlier in the week), then got a positive test a couple of days later... kept having cramps for weeks after that! I had it again with my second, to the point that I ended up being referred to EPU with suspected ectopic pregnancy (it was all on my left side) and again, had cramps for weeks. I'm now pregnant with my third and only have very mild/barely there cramps/dull "period ache" at 6 weeks... hopefully my body has settled down because it's done it all before?!

So in a nutshell... yes, within the range of completely normal!

Congratulations 🙂

I also thought I had my period the day of my BFP (which was a blood test). Had cramps for a few weeks after.
