Does anyone notice brown spotting a few days before af, BUT not even when wiping,only if checking mucus or dtd etc?

Hi,

I only notice the spotting some months,as obviously don't go looking monthly and would be oblivious unless I went rooting. On 5th cycle ttc and I am afraid it might be a hormonal issue. Just find it strange it never appears without probing. Can anyone relate or shed some light please?

I have this every month just for 1-2 days before my period. No idea if it is a hormonal issue but I have still conceived twice.

Did it take long?

@Hao1 First time we convinced on the third cycle though sadly ended in a MC at 13 weeks (this was probably chromosomal abnormalities and not do to with hormones though). Second time we conceived on the first cycle though I knew more about my cycle and ovulation then. I also used CB advanced digital ovulation kits.

I have this (currently first day of it today, period due on Friday) I noticed it last cycle and I usually have had pink spotting when I wipe which I why I found brown when I went rooting a little strange. Thought it might have been implantation but it wasn’t. Haven’t had success yet but only been trying for six months. I feel like it’s quite normal though?

I don't know. I feel no spotting would be normal. Have read it could mean low progesterone?
