Flashing smiley but no EWCM/CM

Hi ladies, I got my first day of a flashy smiley face yesterday (wasn’t expecting it for a few more days) but haven’t had any CM/EWCM which I normally get in the lead up to ovulation. We did have sex yesterday morning but even though sperm can live up to 5 days, if there’s no CM can it still survive?

Well firstly you may not have ovulated. Opks just show that you are gearing up to it, not that it has definitely happened. If this is the case it will probably try again in a few days. If you want to be sure you will need to do bbt but too late for this month!

If it keeps happening you can use conception lube to mimic ewcm and help the swimmers out. Or I think there are supplements/foods you can eat to increase your ewcm, but I don't know what they are. Sure other posters will help with that though.

Thank you, oh yes I know I haven’t ovulated yet as I normally get the static smiley and get ovulation pains etc but was just wondering about if anyone had conceived with getting a flashy smiley not experiencing any slippery/egg white mucus.

The lube sounds like a good idea though too, will investigate thank you x
