BFP 19/08/23 - anyone else?

Got my BFP yesterday and I am 4 weeks and 1 day

I've had nausea for 5/6 days already now and really struggling 😭 with DC1 I didn't have any symptoms at this point so now I'm really dreading the next 8 weeks or so but obviously am so grateful as we have been TTC #2 for a while now

Anyone else got their BFP in the last few days, how're you feeling ?

@Waitwaitwait22 I agree with @ttcnumbertwox your lines look great on the first response tests. I’m not sure what the sensitivity is for Easy @ Home tests but I would wait a few more days before expecting big jumps in line colour.

Also for what it’s worth, my evening test is always darker than my morning test! bottom is my test this evening and the one above was this morning.

@Alittlebitofscience yours looks amazing great jump from one day to the next. Mine isn’t really moving so I’m not sure on what the sensitivity so gonna assume mine is low or maybe the tests don’t like me lol . I have notice my evening is darker than morning also . Took another when got back from work compare to this morning. The 9dp is morning and when got back from work after 6 there x

@Waitwaitwait22 that last line definitely looks darker! I think hydration plays a factor too so maybe that’s why? Still really decent lines and definitely not getting lighter. At what point do we contact our GP? I feel like it’s so early to do anything yet

@Alittlebitofscience i have tried to contact gp to see if can get my bloods done but they won’t it so seems only thing I can do is ring early pregnancy unit closer to 6 weeks maybe . I’m only 4weeks on dot today so I know can’t do anything for a while. My otd is Wednesday. When is yours?x

Thank you @Waitwaitwait22 - hope tomorrow's tests is good news! For what it's worth my line progression has always seemed slower than others, even in my last pregnancy so there's definitely an individual element to it!

@ThelastRolo20 this is actually after my first round of IVF so i’ve so far been extremely lucky and so grateful to be in this situation. We always knew we’d need fertility treatment from the beginning x

@Waitwaitwait22 my clinic have said to officially test on Sunday - 13 weeks after a 5 day transfer so 19 dpo/13dp5dt!

I haven’t had bloods taken (and I don’t think they plan to) but my IVF cycle includes a pregnancy follow up scan so I assume that might be around week 6 - I’m not sure as i’ve not told them yet x

@Alittlebitofscience oh you a bit to go then, mine wants me to test on 11dp5dt/16dpo , the tww is definitely the worse part in the whole process lol 😅, yeah mine is the same a follow up in 3 weeks if positive so just need go day by day now everyday feels like a week at this stage haha

@Waitwaitwait22 I did three frer on DPO 10/11/12 and a couple of cheap Waitrose ones on DPO 13/15 x

My lines have gotten a bit darker 2 days til test day 🥹 praying this doesn’t end in ectopic

I'm really struggling this time with anxiety. I did struggle last time too but this time it has taken even longer to fall pregnant I'm just so worried if it isn't successful about having to try again 😩. Does anyone else feel like this or is everyone else feel excited? I can't tell if it's normal to be nervous in the beginning or if I'm being irrational

@ttcnumbertwox thank you I’m the same I can’t even get excited cause I’m just so nervous again.
this is my second time pregnant in 4 years we’ve been trying first was with our first ivf round ended in mmc and now this one so I’m really super nervous. I think any pregnancy is hard especially when trying so long aswell. I hope this works for us all ❤️🌈

Really hoping to get my 3 weeks on a digital this weekend

These are my tests in order since Saturday AM.. what does everyone think? 😩

@ttcnumbertwox your lines look good! fingers crossed for a 3+ soon. Do you compare against the same type of test or just take whatever test you have available? I’ve got 3 types on rotation 😂

my lines on the cheapies are kind of staying the same for past 2 days. I opened a new box this evening so not sure if that could be why. Had progression on the first response test yesterday and still a clear solid blue line on clear blue this evening.

Trying not to worry as I know they’re supposed to get darker every 2 days 😣

Clinic have said its too early to do anything yet so I suppose we just wait and see until otd on sunday!

@ttcnumbertwox your lines are much the same as mine on them on my frer there much darker . I noticed they are taken longer to get darker . What dpo are u again? @Alittlebitofscience have you took a digital yet? I’m to scared have bloods in morning for test day 🫣

@Alittlebitofscience I just use whatever I can get hold of 😩 I wish I had more of the easy at home ones but it would be expensive to order them so I've just picked up some cheap ones but now they're making me anxious

Sounds like your tests are progressing well too, it's so hard not to worry though

@Waitwaitwait22 that's interesting, which cheapies are you using? These are from Sainsbury’s they're called freedom I used them with my first and the line progressed a lot quicker but they're a different colour this time so I think they have changed. I tried to get some first response tests today and all the shops have stopped selling them 😩 do you get yours off Amazon?

@ttcnumbertwox im using wasy@home from Amazon and frer from Amazon to none of my local shops have them either so I’m buying non stop from Amazon lol . I find the cheap ones work best with my evening urine for some reason. This is mine I’m on same boat as you panicking cause line wasn’t progression but stuck to one brand and it’s definitely help seen the difference

@ttcnumbertwox @Waitwaitwait22 I’m using Wondflo ones from Amazon and some first response early response and clear blue tests too. I got 1-2 weeks on the CB digital at 6dp5dt (sunday). Not sure when to take another one of them - because they’re expensive I want to make sure i don’t waste it haha x

Girls official test day today . What we think has the line got lighter or stay the same ?

@Waitwaitwait22 the older one is going to look slightly darker because they darken as they dry, so the 2nd test is fresh, to compare it's best to compare as pictures at the same time it's had to develop x
