Medical management work after 48 hours?

Has anybody ever had their first dose of misoprostol work AFTER 48 hours? Or a second dose of misoprostol work if the second didn't? The first dose did nothing and apparently my hospitals policy is they can’t give another until after 72 hours x

When I had an abortion in 2017 I thought it was all done after a few hours of bleeding and losing until 3 days later when in the night I had severe pain (turned out to be contractions!) And then saw the baby come out. However I had to have medical management this year from a 14 week missed miscarriage, I had started miscarrying already so may have helped but had retained products. The misprosotal passed the remaining tissue within about 4 hours x
