Do not want advice about gap in children age

I had my son 10 months ago and he is BF however eating solids now so not having as much milk. He is waking once a night for a feed. Will NOT take formula despite efforts frustratingly.

Due to a few factors we would like to have started to trying to conceive when son is around 14 months.

I'm worried now how long it might take for my periods to come back - will it only be when son stops BF and even then could it take months?

I have only just had my very wanted first post baby period so we can finally ttc next week
My ds will be 2 next month. I wanted a small age gap but my period wouldn't come. Even when only feeding once to sleep. Nada 👎

I may be wrong but I'm sure I read you can use the contraceptive pill to kick start your period cycle? Wish I'd done that sooner but decided early I wanted my body and hormones to return 'naturally' or something... Didn't think it would take 23 bloody months though!!

Thanks so much for replying! I'm planning on going cold turkey as much as I can come DS being a year.

I'm thinking we might need to really try and get him on formula sooner rather than later to give me the best chance of getting my period back then?! He currently just refuses it outright even a 50/50 BM and formula mix

Best of luck on trying for no.2!
