Would you say that this is a positive OPK?

Currently on day 16 of my cycle, been testing with OPKs twice a day since day 9. All obviously negative. This is the one I got at 11.30am today. Just tested again and got a fainter test line. So I guess my LH levels peaked this morning, just not sure the line is dark enough if you see what I mean! Thanks

Those sticks are always hard to read. Unfortunately the more expensive ones with the smiles are better. You could use the cheap ones then double check if it’s positive on days like this with a smiley one.

That test looks flooded so I’m not sure you can trust whatever result it’s giving, but it looks negative. The test line needs to be as dark as, or darker than, the control line to be positive.

Usually the background would go white, but if the test is flooded (when it has been dipped beyond the ‘max’ line or dipped for too long) then the dye runs and the whole
window looks pink, like the test in the photo.

Unless you took the photo really quickly after dipping it and it hadn’t cleared yet? In which case no one can tell you if it’s positive as we don’t know how dark the test line got after the window cleared.
