Is 6 day’s too early to get a positive before AF is due?

Hi,
is 6 day’s to early to test before AF is due? Been having weird symptoms like stabbing pains in my vagina and a sharp needle stabbing pain on mr left side. Took a 6 day’s early test and it was negative 😓.

any advice please? X

Depends when you ovulated! For me personally 6 days before my period would still be 4/5dpo usually, so would be WAY too early.

Thanks for the reply I get really confused with the DPO part! 🤣🤦‍♀️it said on my app that my main ovulation day was the 1st of August I took an ovulation test and I was ovulating. So do you count DPO from the day you test positive?

Usually at least the day after, so if you did ovulate on the 2nd you'd be about 8dpo which is still early for a positive test. Theres still plenty of time for that to turn to a positive

I'd say the same hun you're about 8dpo. I would say give it till about 11dpo or even 12dpo if you can hold out. Today is Thursday so you'll probably get a better result on Sunday or Monday. Test first thing in the morning. Hope you get a positive result xx

Thank you so much for advice 💕I only have one fallopian tube due to my right fallopian tube been blocked, so I can only conceive on my left side and that was diagnosed from my fertility tests and HSG dye test I had done, and they say it can take a while to conceive! 😓I really hope these left sided pains are a good sign xx

You can actually ovulate from either ovary even with one tube!

Hi, my right fallopian tube is completely blocked at the top due to an ectopic pregnancy so they have told me even though I still ovulate on both sides the sperm can’t meet the egg due to the blockage. They treat it with mexorthortrate and didn’t remove it. So when I ovulate on my right I have no chance to conceive only on my left. Xx

Hi, I'm in exactly the same time frame as you, also tested negative yesterday but had some odd symptoms so still hoping 🤞AF due Tuesday/Wednesday..

good luck hun, let me know how you get on! it’s so hard not to test isn’t it! 🤦‍♀️🤣I have done the cervix test this morning and my cervix has dropped low and is hard, so I really doubt I am this month now! and that it’s the stupid AF coming. 😞 sending you lots of baby dust x
