Positive Opk, but when is 1dpo?

Hi,

Im on cycle 3 so far, had my positive opk and smiley face on the digi test today! But when will I be 1dpo? Will it be tomorrow or Saturday? You usually get 2 smiley face days so I'm not sure if that means I won't actually ovulate until tomorrow? Sorry if this is a silly question! We're doing the SMEP this time 🤞

It's usually 12-24 hours after a positive OPK depending on if you caught the begining of the surge or the end of the surge. I'd count today as ovulation day if you got your positive yesterday and tomorrow as 1DPO

If you tested positive today, then tomorrow would be ovulation and Saturday DPO1
