LH surge 2 days after period?

Ok so this might be fairly confusing. I miscarried at 4 1/2 weeks on Friday and then my miscarriage/period lasted up until Tuesday. Today I took a OPK to get back into the habit of it and it's coming back at a peak? I'm aware that my body is healing and trying to regulate after the miscarriage but I didn't expect this whatsoever since it's only 2 days after my 'period' has ended. Has anyone else had this happen before? Is it my body hearing for ovulating or is it something else?

It could possibly picking up hcg? I had a peak lh on the day I had a positive pregnancy test. Have you done a pregnancy test since the miscarriage to see a negative?

They usually say you can ovulate as soon as 2 weeks after (I ovulated 1 week after finishing bleeding however I bled for 2 weeks after miscarriage measuring 7.5 weeks). The body needs to reset itself after a miscarriage and can go all squiffy which doesn't help when we want to try as soon as possible!

I had a blood test on Friday at the hospital to confirm my miscarriage and my HCG levels came back at 11. They originally wanted to me have a second blood test on the Sunday to see if it rose or fell but they told me that it was too low so on Sunday it would come back at 0 so there was no point doing the second test. I took a home test yesterday when the bleeding stopped and that came back negative. It's all so confusing the hospital weren't helpful whatsoever when I had questions and treated me completely robotic. They gave me no numbers for support after my miscarriage so now I'm left kind of alone with no idea what I'm supposed to do next 😭 they said I can carry on TTC this cycle as my miscarriage was so early but that's as far as I got with them.

I'm so sorry you've had such a terrible experience going through this 💕 it's awful that we have so little support going through something so traumatic and unknown to us. I had to push and push to get anyone to help me and tell me where to go for support during mine.

Maybe you are possibly ovulating? I've only been tracking ovulation a few months (this months and 2 prior to period) so not too up on it but have been trying to read up and learn as much as I can. If it's something you feel ready for, it wouldn't be a bad thing to dtd to catch it if it is ovulation.

The doctor I saw recommended the miscarriage association as a fantastic resource of information and they have an information help line also if you wanted to speak with someone who may be able to give you some answers. 💕

Sending a big hug. I've no idea regarding ovulation but wanted to pop on and say I'm so sorry for your loss.
I'm in a similar situation, I miscarried last week. I had a negative test 2days ago and my bleeding stopped today. I plan to start taking ovulation tests from this weekend. We do want to try again but it's more just for me to see what my body is doing really.

Sending you lots of love xx

Thank you so much, I'll have a look and see what they say :) it's rough, I feel like it's not spoken about enough so the support available is minimal :(

Sending hugs back I'm so sorry you had to experience that :( it's difficult isn't it because you want to continue trying but also you don't want to try to early to let your body heal but then how long do you wait for 😭
