Hello,
I’ve been trying to conceive baby number 1 with my husband now for 15 months. We’re both on waiting lists for fertility investigations and are both in our mid 20s.

I usually do OPKs and track my BBT, and I’ve learnt from doing this that I always get my period at 12DPO.

On 7 and 8 DPO, I had a slight BBT dip. I then had severe cramping from 8DPO to 11DPO. The cramps felt like period cramps and cramping before my period is normal for me. I just assumed I’d get my period on 12DPO as normal. When 12DPO came around, my cramps stopped and I’ve had absolutely nothing since. No period cramps (they’re all I get for periods). I’m now at 14DPO so my period is 2 days late based on my usual pattern. I still have no signs my period is going to start, but also have zero pregnancy symptoms either so I’m pretty sure I’m out for this cycle.

I did a pregnancy test at 10DPO which was negative. My issue is I’m now currently in Greece, and don’t have my BBT thermometer or any tests, but obviously I’m driving myself crazy thinking about all of this. My chart isn’t complete as I’m away and didn’t want to track whilst on holiday, but I’ve attached it anyway.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I just found it so odd to have these cramps followed by absolutely nothing. They were very intense and didn’t stop for 3 days. Any insights would be great, especially as I can’t test anything!

I really hope it's your month OP, I fell pregnant on month 15!

What I will say though, is my AF was always thrown off when I was travelling and would usually arrive a few days late.

Could you get a pregnancy test from a local pharmacy? Fingers crossed for you!

I would test, OP, as it will put your mind at rest either way. It should be accurate for the majority of people by 14dpo. Best of luck x

Thank you for the responses! I’m at a resort and there aren’t any pharmacies nearby where we are. We’re going on an excursion to Fira in Santorini on Saturday and Google says they have pharmacies there so I might have to hold off until then!
