CD31, negative test and no sign of AF??

I had my copper coil removed mid June which delayed my AF last month by about a week as I had a mini flow after removal about mid-cycle. Usually my cycle is 27-29 days. This month I had usual ovulation symptoms around the usual time in my cycle so thought I was back on track.

This morning's test was a BFN but still no sign of AF and all my cramping disappeared two days ago. I had a tiny pink dot on my toilet paper at the same time but this would be way out of sync if it were implantation bleeding. I feel like I'm going bonkers 🤪

I would be really grateful to hear if anyone has experienced anything similar! Thanks x

Hello! I don’t have any answers but just wanted to share that I’m going through the same. I think in your case, hold on for another week or so to see if AF comes and if not go to the GP? That’s my plan anyway!

May 11th - 6 day period
May 27th - copper IUD removed
June 29th - 5 day period
August 8th - still no period, random cramping, randomly vomited this morning but negative pregnancy tests

I’ve also been taking OPK tests and they were quite dark at the beginning of August which had confused me even more. Maybe I have a 6 week cycle??

Your cycle can be up and down after coming off hormonal contraception. I know women who haven't gone back to clockwork cycles for at least 6 months, with a mix of longer and shorter cycles until then.

It's gutting, but very normal.

Yeah that’s certainly normal for hormonal IUD but not for the copper ones. There are no hormones in them at all. Based on what I’ve read, cycles should return to normal pretty must instantly after the copper IUD is removed 🤷‍♀️
