TTC & period 11 days early at 2DPO - help?

Long story short I got my peak OPK on Thursday and think I ov’d Friday. Came on my period last night / this morning. What the actual hell? I usually have a regular 29 day cycle so really don’t know what’s happened. Deffo not ovulation bleeding it’s way too heavy…

I'm going to be absolutely no help whatsoever, but jumping on the thread because the exact same has happened to me! Like exact dates too

@CJHR18 Really? Sorry you’re going through it too. Made me feel slightly better about the situation at least I’m not alone but I’m actually devastated 🙈 spent all day moping around and hoping when I go the loo it’ll have stopped but no such luck. What’s your bleeding like?

Its so bizarre. Like it's only like day 22 of my cycle, which is far too early for me. I normally have such a long cycle. It's definitely not heavy enough to wear a tampon, or even leave much staining on a pad, but there seems to be a lot when I wipe. Sorry if that's TMI 🤣 is that the same for you? X

Yeah it’s the same for me!! Although it does seem slightly heavier today 😩 I’m so confused. I usually don’t have sore boobs once I come on my period either but they’re still killing so I’ve got no idea what’s going on x

@CJHR18 How are you today? My bleeding has slowed since this morning and I just have brown cm at the min. So strange x

Mine has slowed right down too! Mine alternates from brown CM to a lightish pink. I'm so conflicted what to do as I'm doing Clomid cycles!

So strange!!! I had some red again earlier but back to virtually nothing now it’s deffo lighter than yesterday but still there. I’ve booked in at the docs cos I need to see someone about this now I think. Early appointment was next Tues though so a while to wait haha x

This cycle I had my ovulation monitored via ultrasound. I'm now 9DPO. I'll be monitoring it myself next cycle. What have you been using? X

Oohh if you’re that far your bleeding could possibly be implantation? 🤞🏼 When was your last ultrasound?
It was my first cycle using OPK’s and I got my peak on Thursday so was shocked when I started bleeding Saturday. I just use easy@home tests and the Premom app to upload them to x

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! I spoke with my fertility nurse and she doesn't seem to think that the clomid has worked this cycle. She said to keep an eye on things. If I don't get a proper peroid by day 40, I need to ring up get provera and double my dose of clomid.

I'm went for an ultra scan on the Friday and I hadn't ovulated, went on the Monday and the follicle had collapsed. My BBT placed ovulation on the Tuesday, but obviously the scan is more reliable.

I don't think it's implantation bleeding as I think there was possibly too much blood.

How are you getting on? X

Hello I think this has happened to me. I always spot before my period, sometimes 7 days before, but this month I’m only 4DPO and having quite heavy bleeding which is really worrying me! Did you get an answer on the cause?

Aww sorry to hear that @CJHR18 ! I went to the doctors yesterday and she has taken some bloods and sending me for an ultrasound as I had a cyst in March and she wants to make sure it disappeared but she didn’t seem overly concerned, so just waiting for the blood results and the results of this scan after my appointment. My bleeding has completely stopped now and looking back I don’t think it was a period but not sure what it was. So strange. Wondering if it could be the ectropion on my cervix but I feel like there was too much blood for that 🤔 just so annoying when you don’t know what it is!!

It started just when I wipe, although I also get quite constipated at this time of the month and there’s quite a bit of blood when I go to the toilet. But a lot less than a period. So frustrating! It feels like I’m on my period all the time!

@Absolutebeginners1 Blood from the front or the back when constipated? Sorry to be tmi 🤣 I sometimes get blood from the front as I have an ectropion on my cervix and it can be aggravated when constipated. So could be the same for you? If you’ve been ttc the bleeding could be because having sex has also irritated the ectropion x

Sorry it’s definitely from the front haha, I have had an ectroption in the past but I though they resolved themselves and this was about 5 years ago. Seems to always be during my LH phase! I can’t imagine how I’m ever going to conceive though, it’s fresh disappointment every month at the moment.

@Absolutebeginners1 They sometimes do but they can also come back even after treatment to get rid of them! I’ve had mine for years it was terrible when I was pregnant with my first constantly up at the hospital wondering why I was bleeding thinking the worst until I eventually found out what it was. I couldn’t even push the hoover round the living room without making it bleed. Then after I gave birth it seemed to go away!! But I had a scare again at the beginning of this year when I was bleeding after sex, went for a colposcopy and was diagnosed with it again, it’s honestly such a pain 😅 Mine gets worse around ovulation too, I think they’re caused by estrogen and that is high around ovulation so definitely makes sense as to why.
I know how you feel, it’s like you get your hopes up, really think that this month it could be it then see that negative test and it’s so disheartening. I never believe it until Af arrives but she always does 😂x

So I have an answer, well kind of an answer… still not sure what the bleeding is but I’ve just got my bfp 🥹

wow @katie416 congrats!! The heavy bleed I had last Tuesday actually subsided, my luteal phase is only 12 days normally so I’m due my period tomorrow. Normally at this point I would be spotting a lot so I tested and got what I think is a very faint line as well 😬

@katie416 I only used a Morrisons cheapie but tested again today with FMU and got this 🙂
