Can you ovulate 4 days after a surge

Bbt is saying I ovulated on 21st , however the start of my lh surge was on 17th around 8pm . I'm utterly confused. We stopped dtd on 19th as just assumed we'd have covered it but early not. I'm finding it all rather depressing trying to time ovulation. Any thoughts

It looks like you did ovulate on the 21st but you're still in with a chance by dtd on the 19th (and anytime from the 16th). I got pregnant last month and we dtd on the 9th (peak OPK) then temp spike was on the 12th. So that's a similar time frame to you, you're definitely still in with a chance! Good luck 🤞
