Hello, has anyone used a syringe to inseminate themselves? What kind of syringe do you need. Just a standard or a special kind of one needed. How many mls would you recommend.
Partner and I are exhausted from dtd and he always says he dosent feel he shoots far so we thought we'd try out a syringe. sorry of this is tmi but we have alot of leakage also so my thoughts are a syringe and fertilily cup

We use something called TwoPlus - got pregnant from it second month of using it (sadly ended in miscarriage). Highly recommend it, easy to use and has helped us immensely as my other half has issues finishing which causes him loads of stress x

I used a calpol syringe and the result has just reminded me he wants to bring his basketball on holiday with us today! Doesn’t need to be fancy.

I bought a kit off Amazon but the syringe is a bit pointy but does the job. I did see on Google more expensive kits with flat ended or even rounded end syringes that would be more comfortable. Calpol surging a pp mentioned would work well!

We were ttc for over 5 years and sometimes we both just could not face the idea of yet more sex. It did work twice for us, (sadly both mc) so it definitely can work. You use all the semen. I think you're meant to leave it 10 mins before you insert it as the consistence changes a bit.
