I’m looking for TTC buddies:)

I’m currently 3DPO and TTC baby #2! Anyone is welcome to join or hop along this thread. Please feel free to share your symptoms!

@Pandabumbles I think can see a little something! Maybe try tomorrow morning first thing with a digital confirm? Excited for you!!!

@Pandabumbles that is exactly what mine looked like, I can’t remember if I posted a photo of it on here but it was one of those where one second I was sure it was there and the next I was sure it wasn’t! I can defo see something! Xx

@GB91 @AFireAtASeaParks @Mrsttcno1 thanks ladies!! There was definitely "something" there compared to the stark white ones if been getting before. Will def update tomorrow. Tentatively crossing my fingers... if it looks positive with fmu I'll try and find a shop open at the crack of dawn for a digital 😂

DS was up at 4.30 this morning (shudder) so i did another IC and got another faint line but thought it was a bit darker. So left DS with DH at 7am to go to Tesco express for a digital... still a bit shaky. Praying for a sticky bean 🙏

Wow - this post has given me hope with all the BFPs! Congratulations!
I'm currently around 4DPO and on round 5 or 6 of TTC number 2.
Hate the TWW but just trying to keep busy and keep my mind off it. Have purposely not got any tests in the house so as I won't be tempted to test too early!
I'll turn 40 next year and so am aware time isn't on my side but am trying to keep optimistic!

@JC084 I felt exactly the same, I'm 40 next year too. So it can very much happen! Me and DH both said to each other this morning it's reassuring to know there must be something working! Lots of luck to you on your ttc journey x

congratulations @AFireAtASeaParks ! We will have to start a thread for our pregnancies considering theres got to be 4/5 of us now all conceived within days of each other it seems! X

Yes that sounds like a great idea, it’s so nice to be able to tell people and chat about it as DH and I are keeping it quiet IRL til we know all is OK! Is anybody telling family/friends earlier?

@AFireAtASeaParks I actually told my mum before I told DH🤣 I can’t explain why because we were actively trying but it still came as a shock when the test said “pregnant” (maybe because I was in the train station toilets), I just wanted to go see my mum straight away so I literally went to her house and spoke to her about it then went home and told DH🤣🤣 but other than that we’re keeping it private, I’m thinking of booking an early reassurance scan for September to give us something to look forward to xx

@Mrsttcno1 Aww I know my mum knows we’re trying too, so I might just tell her and keep it from everyone else, just for moral support! Oh no a train station toilets 😂 We’re the same, looking like we can get an 8 week scan locally at the end of September if all goes well! Seems like it’s so far away! 😬
When are you booking a GP appointment to confirm?

I’m not sure about when to get in touch with GP, possibly some time this week?

I only found out on Friday and I’ve done a test every day since then, and ordered another 4 yesterday🥲 so I defo have lost the plot. The ones I’ve ordered are the “how many weeks” ones and I am telling myself that once I see a 3+ on there I will stop testing. Haven’t actually done one like that yet!

@Mrsttcno1 I've been doing lots of tests since too, my other half asked me, why do you keep doing more 🤣 and I'm not really sure, gonna try leave it a few days if I can!!

I'm going to find it really hard not to tell anyone, feel like it may slip out, my family aren't in this country but I am very close with my friends, and think they will suss if I avoid plans/stop going for drinks with them🤐if anyone has any tips on keeping it quiet please let me know!

@Mrsttcno1 Oh god me too! 😬 I’m going to wait until Friday to do the digital how many weeks test to make sure AF is definitely not coming!
I might make an appointment next week as we go away next Thursday for a long weekend so want it confirmed before then!
@GB91 Thank you so much! I know I feel so excited and like I want to share but at the same time I need to let it sink in before I start telling people! Luckily I don’t drink but I have two friends of the same age (28) who are currently expecting so it might be nice to chat to them about what to expect!

I called about making a booking appointment with midwife this morning, they were like "fill in the online form and will send you a letter"! Don't know why but that felt like an anti climax! Ha
We've booked a reassurance scan when I'll be 7 weeks 4 days... we had a MMC before we had DS so just want to know if everything is OK or not at earliest chance. I'm feeling quite anxious but need to remember it's a day at a time!
I'm in two minds about telling anyone else, one of my good friends is pregnant with twins i might share with her to share the load!

@Pandabumbles it's good you called them though! I have a GP appointment booked for next Tuesday (for another reason but now this takes over) and I am wondering if I need to let them know beforehand what the appointment is about?
I'd love to book a private scan too, going to see how things go and consider it! It is hard not to worry and especially if you have been through a MMS before, but hopefully all will be okay this time around x

Hi! Been at work this week for A Level results day (and all the prep beforehand!) but this morning did a digital test finally and this popped up! Booking a Drs appointment today for next week and have an early reassurance scan booked for 23 September 😁 After that we’re telling parents and siblings, but keeping it quiet for everyone else til the 12 week scan which should be around 13 October 😊 How is everyone else doing?
