TTC whilst breastfeeding and no periods

Hi all!

I'm still BF my 11 month old LG (only 3 times a day max) and want to TTC for a third ♥️ I've had period pains the last couple of months but no period. I recently started testing for ovulation and I'm pretty sure my peak will be today based on previous tests.

Is ovulation possible with no period? Or could I be having a false LH surge.
My CF has been mad (as in a lot and the right consistency), hence the testing in the first place.
Can I have people's experience on this please 🙃

(Back story - 1st took 3 months TTC, 2nd took 18 months TTC with two early losses prior. I'm 37 and can't really wait much longer but also can't force my periods to return)

Hi, it seems everyone is really different when their period returns but for me it was always around 10 months, although somewhat irregular to start with. When do your periods normally come back?

I actually got pregnant with no 4 at 10/11 months pp so just had one period in between and was still breastfeeding. Hope you get good news soon!

I was breastfeeding at least 8x a day when I fell pregnant, with very irregular periods so couldn't track, so best of luck!

@Cazza90 I really can't remember! (My DS is 6.5 so my memory is foggy). I BF him until 12 months so I'm imagining around then.

Full symptoms of ovulation yesterday and today. It's possible this could be the first cycle back for me and I may have a period in a couple of weeks (hopefully not! 🤞🏻)
