Bfp this morning now light pink staining

Hi ladies. I had an early miscarriage in July at 5 weeks. We tried again right away and I've got a positive on a digital clearblue this morning. When I got home this evening I noticed so light brown/pink discharge and then again after it was light pink and very stringy sorry tmi. I now have back ache like the last time. Just wondering anyone experienced this?

@liv2023 could be implantation bleeding - I'd go with the positive test tentatively:) and maybe test again in a few days

Thanks so much for your reply. Is it possible to have a bfp and have implantation bleeding? It's so hard not to think the worst with it just happening. Hopefully no heavier bleed happens and I will test again on Saturday 😊

Hey @liv2023 it’s absolutely possible to also be just decidual bleeding. Decidual bleeding is when your uterus still sheds the other side to where your embryo is implanted on your period due date due to the hormones. I get this! I had it with my first pregnancy in May but lost this at 5W in June (unrelated to the initial bleed) and now I’m bleeding again when my period is due but also now have a positive test.
If you are miscarrying it would be unlikely you’d get a clear blue positive this morning. Normally HCG goes down/ you get a negative test first before you then miscarry.

Let's hope we can both relax and try to enjoy it without worrying over everything. I will find it hard but it sounds like we have had similar experiences close together. @liv2023 You’re welcome I’m glad you’re feeling better! I think any bleeding is scary and when you’ve had a loss before you will always fear the worst but it’s soooo soooo common in healthy pregnancies. Aww thank you, fingers crossed we do both get our bubbas earthside! Especially as we’ve had that loss before. Just need these little nuggets to stick in there and get cosy 😊 x

Yes, happened to me- had a miscarriage, became pregnant again and had bleeding the same day as the positive test.

Had bleeding on and off throughout the pregnancy - that baby is now an adult!

I have two girls 10 and 3 and never experienced this before so I was so shocked the last time. Although I knew before I had miscarried as all my symptoms disappeared💔I am hopeful this time. Symptoms are still going strong. I hope I come across your journey through this and its good news for you🤞
