I'm just being nosey 🤷

If you have photos of your OPKs from negative to positive share away! I find it super fascinating that some have a really clear progression and some are stark negative all the way until blazing positive.

I'm definitely one of those who always have a pretty clear line and then all of a sudden it's positive.

Mine go from nothing to positive in a few hours. I can usually tell I’m going to ovulate though because I get EWCM a few days before so just keep testing until I get the peak.

OP those look like a peak to me. My lines are not always super dark but the app must learn over time what peak looks like for you as I now ‘peak’ at around 0.7 (using premom app). You might find tomorrow your lines are faded again.

My EWCM is non existent always has been unless I take EPO 🤦

They are super close but I usually get very very dark and then drop off a day or two later - well that was the case last time I tracked, it's been a while.

@HopefullMumto4 definitely looks like a peak is on the way! Yes similar TWW :)

my only worry is that I've had very little/ no EWCM but I've found it's been less generally since having my daughter so maybe that's just a change..will just have to wait and see what happens

Eeek definitely happening. Look how dark and quickly they changed! The difference from 7:45am to 12:20pm is crazy.

I also got a flashing smiley this morning and a solid smiley just now.

@HopefullMumto4 ah fab! It's so exciting and satisfying isn't it 😆 I think while awaiting the BFP I've transferred my enthusiasm to the opks as at least that is pretty much guaranteed 🤪😂

Hi everyone!

jumping onto this as it’s my first month using OPKs, I am so confused! Used them from the day my period stopped and apparently had a peak already? Anyone had this so early on. Or could it be to do with the lighting, time of day etc …?

@Ecj92 hmm tricky to say - with the naked eye they don't look that different to me? What are they like in person? Occasionally I've had readings on the app that don't completely sit comfortably with what I'm seeing (possibly lighting etc). I did have a peak cycle day 11 after my MMC which was early for me and it was a shorter than usual cycle (my luteal phase is 14 days so 25 day cycle that month instead of 28). Once you know your own cycle a bit more it will also be easier to make judgement calls where needed! Personally I would keep going with the testing and see how things look in a few days. Feel free to report back!

Hmm, I take the number readings that the premom give you with a pinch of salt. The CD 9 and 10 don't look like peak readings to me, but like you say it could be lighting etc. I save mine in a little exercise book to go back and review because then it's always in the same lighting

@Ecj92 it's my first month too and what I'm learning is that everyone's is so different! I doubt that's your peak, just keep testing :)

In person they don’t look that much different to me, all have two lines, one fainter than the other. From what I’m reading / seeing I’m guessing I’ll keep testing until the test line goes as dark or darker than the control line 😂to know when / if I’m ovulating.

That looks like how I was expecting mine to go! Is this your first cycle ttc? Im
just so confused with it all, after going with it will happen when it happens to tracking ovulation Iv really got my heart set this month. I’m on CD10 and I feel crazy already.

@Ecj92 we have a 19 month old daughter already but now thinking about baby 2. My cycles are slightly different now though so it feels new! We've had a couple of months of half trying but my cycle hasn't been 100% consistent (one went from my normal 29 days to 21 which threw me!). So thought I'd try OPKs :)

We've only managed sex twice though, once 4 days pre ov and once on day of so not entirely convinced this will be our month but officially entering the dreaded TWW!

Aww lovely you have a wee girl! Well I’m sending you lots of baby dust, and you have done it around your ovulation so fingers crossed!
the sex part for us with actively ttc has been fine…. every day so far, so if I miss ovulation hopefully that will help haha!!

My gosh. I really thought yesterday was my peak... apparently not. Watching these lines is so cool. I don't remember being as interested in them as much last time I TTC

Hi lovely’s!

After taking out the “peak” test as I really think it was due to bright lighting, tonight’s one seems to be climbing again more steadily. How is everyone getting on?

Eek, ooh getting stronger there!

I am 95% sure I ovulated today as my cramps were awful this afternoon / evening, so looking forward to tomorrows test to see if it's negative
