5 month old baby, a period and a + test?!?! HELP

Hello,

I am 5 months post partum with DC2, DC1 is almost 4 and I have had 3 periods (April, June and July) My last period was only one week ago and was normal. I was very hormonal just before I came on so, did a pregnancy test which was negative at the time and then my period came along.

I've been extremely tired for the past couple of days and DC2 asked me today if she can have another sister. This tempted me to do a pregnancy test. I've got a big box leftover from previously TTC so, I take them pretty regularly and think nothing of it but, I've got three positive pregnancy tests staring at me.

Google tells me a period is impossible whilst pregnant so, it was either implantation bleeding, miscarriage or ectopic. I've got a call with GP this afternoon but, my mind is in a spin and I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience before?

Top two were this morning and the bottom was this afternoon. No doubt positive just unsure whether they are faint due to being early dpo or if the hcg level has dropped due to mc or ectopic

With my first pregnancy I got what I thought was my period, like full on red blood filled a pad. And then it turned light but continued for the next 5-7 days. It’s only because my breasts stayed sore and swollen that I found it strange and tested - I had a bfp, later went to my scan and all was fine. But could have easily mistaken it for just a period. It’s normal!

Doc has said to go for a blood test tomorrow and will follow up with more tests to check if levels are dropping Vs increasing and go from there.

Just did a clear blue and it says pg 1-2wks

I don't know how to feel at the minute. I’m quite happy and hopeful but scared. DH doesn't want a third so, he's the opposite I think which is making things harder to process 🤦🏽‍♀️
