Hi ladies, hoping I can get some of your experiences please as I'm going out of my mind.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in Feb and was treated with methotrexate so i still have my tube, also had a chemical pregnancy last month on the first month of ttc again with very faint lines and af arrived on due date.

I am now pregnant again and am 4+6 and am worried this maybe another Ectopic pregnancy or maybe even another chemical.

Reasons for worrying about the ectopic is because im pretty sure I ovulated from the ectopic side as i had some awful ov pain on that side the morning after peak opk and as I still have that tube I'm worried it may of got stuck there again.

Another reason is that I have no pregnancy symptoms other than sore boobs if I touch them and I had no symptoms either with my ectopic pregnancy.
I already have children and had pregnancy symptoms with them before I had even missed my period so this does not feel reassuring tbh.
I know pregnancys can be different and I'm still early on but as i had no symptoms before it feels like history is repeating itself.
I do have an early scan booked for the 9th of August with the epu but i just dont know how I'm going to cope until then.
Does anyone have any experience of pregnancy with no symptoms being fine?
I feel rather down at the moment 😔

I have no experience but didn't want to read and run... I have 4 children and never had any symptoms before 6 or 7 weeks tho, if that helps.

@Maybebaby12345 thankyou for your reply, that does help hearing thankyou! Just feels like a lifetime away to have my scan and to know what's happening x

I'm sorry to read about your ectopic ❤️ I went through the same experience in February myself. We have started ttc again, this months been unsuccessful so onto the next. But I share the same fear as you! I think it's a good sign tbh that your not experiencing anything. Xx

Alloveragain3 · 31/07/2023 13:14

My symtpoms started at 6 weeks with both successful pregnancies.

Good luck!

Maidie1994 · 31/07/2023 13:19

@Jadeypie thankyou for your reply. i am really sorry to hear you've shared the same experience, it is awful 😔
With my ectopic I started to bleed a week after my positive pregnancy test but my tests was all-over the place, one day faint then the next darker i suspect due to hcg fluctuating but was put down to a miscarriage at first. My tests with this pregnancy have got stronger each day and I had a dye stealer on 16dpo which made me feel positive although doesn't mean much to be fair and I have got further than before and had no bleeding which is also positive but just cant shake this awful feeling with having no pregnancy symptoms like with my ectopic. Only time will tell but I'm struggling 😪
I have my fingers crossed for you and I'm sending all the luck in the world for your next cycle. I think all you want in the world after loss is to see them 2 lines but then the anxiety once you get it is almost torturing. I hope your feeling as well as can be in starting ttc again ❤️ xx

I could of written this myself, I had a chemical in July then missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in October . I got a bfp in December I was convinced this was a sticky baby because I had all the symptoms, really bad nausea and found out it was ectopic, treated with methotrexate in jan. I’ve had a break for 6months whilst we were deciding whether to try again yet, had a random early period/3day bleed felt sick the whole time I took a random test and it came back positive.
Have you spoke to your gp? mine are really good she referred me to EPAU, at the min it’s down as pregnancy of unknown location but they’re convinced there’s early signs of gestational sac and my hcg numbers are good. It’s just awful not knowing, every twinge has me on edge.

Id speak to your GP if you haven’t already, you should be offered a placement scan anyway at 6 weeks before of a previous ectopic.

TigOlBitties · 31/07/2023 15:11

Sorry just seen you have a scan booked, is it too early to blame baby brain lol x

Bleepbloopbluurp · 31/07/2023 15:25

I can't comment on the lack of symptoms (my pregnancies were ages ago so hard to remember) but I can tell you that my post-ectopic baby came from my tubeless side. Apparently this happens quite a lot- tubes and ovaries are all rather close together and tubes are mobile so can pick up eggs from the other ovary.

I did have a second ectopic about 6 months after my first. It was pretty upsetting at the time if not totally unexpected but I then had the dodgy tube removed and was pregnant with a viable baby 4 months after that. Which is to say that I hope everything is ok for you this time, but even if not it can still work out.

Best of luck.

Hi @Maidie1994 so sorry you've had to go through all of this.
i didn't have any symptoms until about 7 / 8 weeks.

Sending you lots of happy baby vibes hun xx

Maidie1994 · 31/07/2023 20:03

@TigOlBitties oh bless you, sorry to hear you've been through such a tough time to and yes you can blame it on baby brains 😄 so yes i have a scan on the 9th of August with epu just trying to cope until then is awful. Yes the twinges have me on edge I just don't know how I will cope if it is bad news again but I'm glad to hear things are sounding promising for you! I assume you'll be having another scan sometime soon? X

@Bleepbloopbluurp I'm sorry you've also had to go through ectopics 😞 my worry is that because i still have my tube and pretty sure inoculated from that side is that the same tube would of more than likely picked it up and its got stuck again. Like I say its the lack of symptoms i have just like my last ectopic that's giving me so much worry. Thankyou though and im happy you went on to have a successful pregnancy 😊 x
