12DPO , AF due in 2 days . Wheres everyone at ? Need the distraction to avoid the urge to POAS again ( already had multiple BFNs )

5 weeks today for me. Feeling OK so far , have my booking appointment with midwife on 29th August x

Hi everyone!! Jumping in here...
I'm 12 DPO this morning, no signs of AF who is due to arrive in 4 days. BBT and cervix are where they should be and had a few symptoms that I'm pregnant (cramps, headache, heightened sense of smell, ridiculously gassy - sorry tmi🤣) although have been doing my best not to spot and dwell on them.
Tested this morning with Easy and Home and FRER and BFN. Stark white on both. Not even a snif!! I was absolutely devastated this am, but after some chats on another thread from some lovely ladies and giving myself a good talking to (plus a massive cry and cuddle with my dog), Ive decided that Its not over until the crimson witch arrives and I choose to stay hopeful until then. 💜

Hey! With DD I had brilliant white BFNs less than 4 days before AF was due & didn't get the FAINTEST positive til the actual first day of the missed period! So as you say - it ain't over yet! Fingers crossed for you xxx

I hope everyone is getting on okay. I have no symptoms now apart from super sore boobs! But test strips getting darker. Have calculated I'm 5 weeks 3 days. Got first appt 7th sept, seems so far away! Going on holiday tomorrow and slightly worried about the plane ride, and the heat, but going to try and relax and just enjoy it! @RCARB definitely don't count yourself out until AF arrives, my tests all were negative until after AF was due.

@Belles28 ahh no way. That seems really early, how many weeks will you be?? Mine won’t be to end sept or early October. I’m booking in for an early 7w one 24 august tho. How funny we have the sensitive nips!! Hahah x

@Rosieposie0301 it's the worst right?! No nausea yet & that had crept in by now with DD 🫣 I've got all of my organs crossed that I don't suffer as much as last time!

It's not the dating scan it's the first sort of midwife appt where they run through your medical history & you decide which hosp you want to give birth at etc... I'm about 5+2 going off my ovulation date, but from my last period I'd be about 4+5. Can't wait for the dating scan to just have one date to work with. I ovulate around day 10 of my cycle rather than 14, but those 4 days feel like a massive difference don't they 🤣 x

@Rosieposie0301 me & OH were discussing an early scan last night, we had one the first time round & it was just so reassuring... the first trimester feels so long otherwise!

@Belles28 no way I didn’t know they did that. In Northern Ireland we just fill in a self referral form at 8 weeks saying where we want the antenatal appointments and to give birth! We don’t see anyone to the 12w scan. We don’t even tell our GP anymore haha. Shocking

I had zero symptoms with my daughter, and such a tiny bump. I got the best pregnancy, labour, birth and baby and I need to keep everything crossed this one goes the EXACT same hahah I surely can’t get that lucky again can I?!!

@Rosieposie0301 no way that's wild! The first trimester definitely feels the longest but especially so when you have literally no appointments before your 12w scan 🤣

That's sooo lucky! Hopefully that'll be me this time 🤣 tbf I had nausea for 10w & heartburn towards the end but I did love my pregnancy the first time round xx

@Belles28 it feels like the longest 12w ever. I am booking a 7w early scan tho just privately. That’ll be on my bday which is 24th august so not too long to wait!!

Slightly pink stained discharge when I wiped, 5+4 . Should I be concerned ?

@Foreverhopeful23 im 5+4 too! I think as long as it isn’t bright red it’s ok??

@Rosieposie0301 yeah it's just slightly pinkish and so far only the once , no more crampy than I have been the whole time . It just took me a little by surprise x

@Foreverhopeful23 this stage is so nerve wrecking. I panic every time I wipe. I think as long as it was light and a one off you’ll be ok. But if you have any concerns just call your gp!! X

6+4 & feeling shite. Nausea & exhausted. Even more shite with a toddler in tow ☹️

@Belles28 6+2 for me and my only symptom is very sensitive nipples still! Although with my first I didn’t really ever have any symptoms the whole way through and I’m beginning to think this one could be the same? Or wishful thinking!

I have my first scan this week on Thursday, it’s also my bday. So I’m looking forward to hopefully getting to see the heartbeat at that!

I'm with you @Belles28 . Have such bad nausea and vomiting , really shakey this morning and was getting palpitations and shakey last night. I had hyperemesis in previous pregnancy but not this early ! I previously didn't get any symptoms till week 8 or 9 . I'm 6 +3 today and thinking this is going to be a LONG pregnancy . X

Hey ladies, sorry been away on lovely hol! Where I didn't really get to enjoy any of the food as I was so nauseaus!!! I haven't thrown up at all- just feel really nauseaus and really don't fancy any food-but I feel starving at the same time! Usually I love all my fruit and vegetables, but all I feel like is cold milk and Weetabix! I'm 6w6d. Feel slightly worried as I attended a sound gong bath last night, the practitioner told me it was perfectly same to attend, I did lie down quite far away from the sound bowls so it wasn't too loud, but now I've read such conflicting advice online it's made me feel worried( although during the meditation I felt super sleepy and relaxed!) @Rosieposie0301 happy birthday and how lovely that the scan is the same day! @Foreverhopeful23 @Belles28 sorry to hear you're both feeling rough. I hope you have some days where it lets up somewhat!

hey ladies. I had an early u/s today at 6+6 and they could see a gestational and yolk sac but no embryo. They’ve booked me to come back 8 September, 15 days away which seems so so far away.
I thankfully have been able to get an appt at the EPU at a local hospital tomorrow 830am. Really hoping for some positive news tomorrow. My heads all over the place

@Belles28 @Foreverhopeful23 hi both. I had my appt this morning and she could see the baby!!! Said I am measuring 1 week behind but she def saw the baby and has booked for me to come back next Sunday in the hopes it will have grown and we will see the heartbeat. I feel so much better now compared to yday and trying to keep positive until next week! X

Thats great news , definitely positive and heading in the right direction.
