14DPO Super Faint Line Advice Please!

Hi everyone,

I have read so many Mumsnet forums over my year of TTC and found them so helpful.

I now need advice, I'm currently 1 day late on my period (14dpo) and just took a cheap Morrisons test, it's positive but the line is sooooo faint, it's definitely pink in person but I'm really worried it's a chemical :(

Anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice would be much appreciated 🙏

That's a clear line, OP. Congratulations!

I think it looks fine. Also, there are SO many reasons why a line might be on the fainter side. Your urine might not have been as concentrated for instance, you might have ovulated or implanted a bit later, and some pregnancies start with very low levels of hcg and catch up. I don't want to say everything will be okay because nobody can even with a blazing line, but I'd try with a different test tomorrow - a FRER or a digital.

Do try not to worry too much. ❤ Easier said than done, I know, I've been there. But it won't change anything, so take a deep breath, test again tomorrow, and in the meanwhile treat yourself!

I had an early loss in March this year so I think I'm just really scarred, I always hoped that at this point it would be a dark positive but I know it's not that simple. My friend is bring me a FRER tomorrow so I can test with her as my husband is away, fingers-crossed it's good news. Always up for treating myself! ❤

I think that's a good line at 14dpo on one of those Morrisons tests 🙂 they aren't that sensitive.

My best friend came round this afternoon and brought me a test, definitely positive but I’m still not convinced this will last more that a few days, has anyone had a line that faint at 14dpo and had a viable pregnancy? I might be overthinking but I had a MC in March X x
