Does Ultrasound show if I ovulated?

Hi ladies,

I have an ultrasound booked for Thursday and I suspect I’ll be 5dpo then (using opk and bbt). I’ve heard that ovulation can be detected on ultrasound, but was wondering if it can detect if you’ve already ovulated, and if 5 days is too long after to tell?

Yes on an internal scan they'll be able to say if you have ovulate yet

I think they can- I had a scan at 10 weeks pregnant and the sonographer pointed out the ovary I had ovulated her from!

They will probably be able to see something that looks like a crater on your ovary. That would be where the egg was released.

as for OPK and BBT. I got a dip on the 20th, and later that night I got my peak. And next day 21st I also got peak. But my temps didn’t reach luteal phase levels until yesterday (and it’s stayed high since then). It was like a slow rise.

So I was wondering did I ovulate on 20th and just had a slow rise? Or did I ovulate later? (Pic attached)
