Durham or Sunderland fertility clinic

Hi everyone, I'm being referred to a fertility clinic after a GP appointment. I've got a choice of University Hospital of North Durham or Sunderland Fertility Centre. The both have similar times for appointments but the time to treatment is 47 weeks for Durham bit only 22 for Sunderland.

Does anyone have experience with either of these? I'd rather not wait 47 weeks, bit I know Sunderland is a small centre so I'm wondering if the shorter treatment time is just because they end up referring on somewhere else

Any advice appreciated!

Hi,

I've only recently started my journey at Sunderland. So far, I can't complain. Staff are lovely and wait times are fairly short!

I'm glad though as I didn't get a choice.

All the best, C x

Thanks @Caitie18 , it's nice to hear you're having a good experience. I'll probably go to Sunderland then, as the wait times seem a lot shorter.

I hope everything goes well for you x
