Day 21 scan and bloods

Hi all

I have a fertility scan booked for tomorrow, day 21 of my cycle and 7 dpo. Its with ultrasound direct and have booked it to get everything checked as had a chemical in Jan, then a MMC in March and then another chemical at the end of June there. I am also getting my progestore bloods checked too. Has anyone been for one of these scans, what do they check? And i it apart from bloods they give you the scan results there and then?

@Jb2189 how did your scan go? I had MM in June and had surgery, retained tissue shown on ultrasound and had my first period Monday. Not passed any tissue and EPAU said they “presume” it’s dissolved? Booked my scan with the same as you for Monday :)

@Chrissy1208 they said everything looked good and normal, progestorone levels looked OK. I'm now 14 dpo and pregnant again so hoping this one sticks.

On the scan they checked my ovaries, they could confirm I had ovulated and checked my womb and also endometrium thickness too.

Sorry to hear about your mmc. They are horrible, I hope you're scan goes ok.

Thanks for checking in ☺️ so they’ve checked and I still have 1.5cm of retained product. So I have to do another test tomorrow and if it’s negative she’s almost certain it’s clotted blood from surgery? I’ve had a period and nothing happened then so god knows! I’ll give it another month and then if nothing has happened then I’m taking my results to the doctors. also on a positive note I had multiple cysts on both ovaries and now I only have one 3cm cyst on my right ovary.

my only worry is now so what happens if I fall pregnant again? Will I miscarry because there’s product remaining, I really don’t know? £150 lighter and I don’t feel I’ve really learnt much lol
