I think I’m about 8dpo. Not trying to conceive but we had a slip up this month.
I tested this morning with fmu and seemed to get a very light line appear within the first couple of minutes. I don’t know if it’s something or nothing.
please could anyone offer any opinions?

Thanks again so much everyone. I have another Clear and Simple test which I will do in the morning with fmu and see where I stand.
I still haven’t mentioned it to DH but he can tell something is up. I’ve been a right moody cow all night. I dont wanna say anything until I know for sure.
good night lovelies. I’ll update tomorrow xx

I see what your saying - I don't have much experience in this but hopefully someone else will come along and be able to give some friendly advice. My recommendation would be to request a blood test from the gp and go from there. X

Buttons659 · 20/07/2023 10:35

Thank you so much for sharing this advice.
Think I need to get another test cos I think I pee-ed on the window a little bit and dunno if that might be why it looks faded - I’m thinking this because the control line looks much lighter than yesterdays too.
I just wanna know cos I still haven’t told DH yet!

Test number 1 is yesterday afternoon
test number 2 is today FMU
test number 3 is today PM

I think test 3 looks more positive than test 2, but still not quite sure that it’s better than yesterdays?
many opinions greatly appreciated xx

2 & 3 look grey to me rather than pink, especially in the pic where you have yesterdays and this mornings. that could just be how it looks on my screen though.

I’d be tempted to get a branded test or even a digital. This must be driving you crazy with uncertainty.

Buttons659 · 20/07/2023 15:54

They’re definatley pink. Just faint. Here is a better pic.

I agree with the pp. I would go and get a digital test. They are expensive but then at least you’ll know for sure!

kenadams86 · 20/07/2023 19:18

I can see that they are pink and I agree the 3rd test is very slightly darker. X I personally thinks the Superdrug pink dye own brand tests are the best. I got several indent lines from first response so I tend to avoid those. (I don't recognise the tests you are using in the pictures)

Agree with others that digital tests are good although expensive

I’m assuming by the faint lines that my hcg must be too low to be picked up by a digital yet. I’ll give it a few days then get one. Thank you for your advice

@Buttons659 yes! Although your third pregnancy line is darker 😊 how are you feeling? X

Buttons659 · 20/07/2023 21:55

They are Clear and Simple tests from B&M. Just cheapies.

Hi lovely. Thank you for checking in on me again. I’m ok. I’ve been quite nauseous today but I do wonder if it’s a bit psychological.
I still haven’t told DH, I want a definite bfn first. I’m still feeling confused but also getting pangs of excitement. How confusing. Even started looking at bigger cars!
