Barely there line on frer but stronger line on boots test???

Hi just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with anything like this and any input would be super helpful to me as I'm very confused and feeling rather down now as I don't know what has happened.

I did a first response 6 day early test yesterday and got a faint but noticeable line with smu. Ordered some more to be delivered today as it was the only one I had but brought some boots early tests this morning and the sensitivity is 10 on them so higher than frer.
I saved my fmu this morning until I had got some boots tests and so i could test with a frer once delivered.
I got a stronger line on the boots test than I did on the frer that i did yesterday, so after getting this line on the boots test I assumed my hcg mustbof increased over the last 24 hours and that my line on a frer would be decent today with the boots test being higher sensitivity but after testing this evening with frer the line is barely there.
As I said previously both was done with the same urine so I can't understand for 1 why the higher sensitivity test would be a stronger line and 2 why the frer would be much fainter than yesterdays frer after getting a stronger line on another test today with same fmu.
I hope this makes sense and if anyone could help I'd appreciate it 😮‍💨 feeling quite disheartened now as I don't know what to go by 😔

Do you have any pics? Frer are nasty for indents at the moment

Maisie1994 · 18/07/2023 19:34

@Kellyaust picture of the frer or both? I've heard of the indents but I'm sure it had colour to it and the line I got on the boots test is definitely pink and no squinting needed, never had an indent or evap on them. X

I had faint clear blue the day my period was due, then even fainter two days later, then 5 days later a proper line! I’d wait a couple more days

Maisie1994 · 18/07/2023 19:41

The lines stronger seeing it in person than on a picture but the boots test is stronger than this one. This is yesterday's first response I did but no point in posting a pic of today's first response as its just about there and wouldn't show up on a picture. X

I've had the evaps on the clearblue ultra early before x

@Peony654 oh really! I've read lots of indents on first response and probably worth mentioning I've had faint lines on ic tests too. I don't doubt the boots tests at all as I've had an ectopic and a chemical and always used these tests and never had evap/indent on them either so I know its a positive as its pink and definitely there but can't understand why the first response would hardly be there when they are supposed to be more sensitive and same fmu was used x

Have you got pic of the boots one? I know that frer looks like my evaps I had 2, both with colour as well

Maisie1994 · 18/07/2023 20:31

Yes I shall get a picture but evaps don't come up within time frame do they, these lines are within time frame x

Yes mine were all in time frame
