10-11 DPO HELP! Brown discharge

Hello ladies,
Im going rather mental over here, PLEASE help with any advice.

I'm TTC 3 and at 9DPO had pains on my left side on and off all day with mild to moderate cramping. Yesterday (10dpo) I started spotting light to darkish brown discharge. Started off creamy (TMI sorry) then a little more loose. Today (11DPO) the spotting continues and another BFN.

My periods never start like this, they are always bright red and furious on day 1. I’m now two days late.

what could this be?! Anyone else have this and go on to get a BFP?

I had a day of cramping at 8dpo with my last pregnancy and am sure it was implantation. However I didn't test until 14dpo (and it was still a fairly faint test)... If the cramps were implantation, 11 dpo might have still been too early (I think the implantation process itself can take up to 3 days). Maybe try holding off a couple more days and test again. Fingers crossed for you. X

@SnookyPook thanks so much for coming back to me, sounds promising 🤞🏽. I’ve had on off light cramping since 4DPO but from 9DPO they shifted to one side and there was the occasional sharp pain. I’ll hold off from testing, as you advise (even though that’s really haaaard) as all the BFNs can really knock you and crush hope.
