Hello, please could anyone give me some advice or let me know if they have ever had anything similar.
I have been trying to conceive for 3 years now and have just started the process to be referred to the fertility clinic.
I started taking some before conception vitamins and had some bad side effects from them.. it included intense cramping low down on each side of my ovaries and delayed my period by about 2 weeks meaning my cycle was about 40 days in April.
My most recent cycle was exactly 28 days (my cycles vary from usually 30-32 days)
this surprised me as I wasn’t expecting my period when I got it on 21st June.
it seemed like just a normal period but I did have really sore ovary pain compared to usual.
My period started on the 21st June and 10 days after I decided I would take a pregnancy test (test taken on 1st July) as I was due to go away for the weekend and thought i would just check and to my surprise all 3 tests including a digital test said pregnant 1-2 weeks.
over the next couple of days I had spotting and some brown discharge and I have been having some arm pain. I have tested again today and my digital pregnancy tests still say pregnant 1-2 weeks.
I did call the EPC who to be honest did not want to help me at all but I have been booked in for an appointment with them on Tuesday.
I just wanted some advice does this sound normal to have my period and then 10 days later test positive?
