Hi me again! Sorry!
I just wondered if anyone knew how many days past bd can you get a positive before your out?
apologies if that makes no sense, I realise it’s usually calculated past ovulation but I had a tfmr on 31 may, and still haven’t had a period. So I’m not sure when I ovulated as wasn’t checking. Scan conf completely clear uterus and just a thickend lining- midwife said poss ready for a new implantation.
was testing pos faintly but this how now stopped as of this morning a clear blue digital and a one step both neg.
we last dtd on 16th June, 21 days ago? So would you expect to see a positive by now if I did conceive?
thanks!

well sperm can live for 5 days and generally tests will show up fairly clearly at 14 days. so 19 days max really. sorry if at 21 days you're not getting even the faintest line then think you are out

@Zara1234uk sorry for your loss. So I guess you mean in case you ovulated around 16th June? In theory if 16th was in fertile window it could have been up to 5 days before ovulation to day of...

If you ovulated 16th/17th you'd be ~20/21 dpo
If you ovulated 20th you'd be ~16/17dpo...

So would put you at anywhere around 16-21ish dpo..? (Accounting for 5 day fertile window)

Usually you would expect to see something by now as would be within AF starting window. But, some people do seem to implant later/build up HCG from lower levels etc so there may be a chance. Also, my maths may be wrong 😂

Thanks for your replies. I have actually started bleeding this morning so must be af. I’m actually going to track ovulation this month but I’ve not done that for 3 years! Thanks for your help
