Boots 5 days early tests? Always have an indent?

So I missed some mini pills over the last two weeks (I had alot going on couldn't get my prescription and I'm not even sure when what days I missed to be honest) anyway kast Wednesday I started having sore nipples and bad cramping, sore nipples now gone cramping lasted about 6 days stopped two days ago on Tuesday. I tested with two ICs as I felt rubbish both clear evaps after the time limit but this happened with both my previous pregnancies. I went to 3 different boots ans a superdrug to get some frer as their the only ones I really trust but couldn't find any. Have they stopped stocking them or something? Anyway. Left with two boots 5 days early ones. Never used before. One yesterday had a clear indent line that darkened over the day. This mornings I could see a clear indent again at the 1/2 minute mark. I'll attach a picture but I doubt anyone will be able to see it. Anyway do these testa always have a clear indent? There's no colour so it's not a vfl but why are the indents like that?

Hi OP, after suffering from horrible indents on other brands I was led to believe that these ones don’t give indents and are quite reliable. If it came up within the timeframe that is also a good sign. The pictures aren’t very clear so I can’t see anything on them but test again tomorrow/day after and it should be darker if it is something.

Thanks. That's good to know. Yeah frer are the only brand I've used in the past that haven't given me evaps/indents.

I think its most likely an indent tho as I think given the lines I had on the ICs It would have been more visible on another test tbh. I've juat taken a cheap clear ans simple one. The only one inhad here. (Former poas addict here) I think probably the pains and sore nipples were just from missing/taking my pills late. I've been on the mini pill since shortly after my youngest was born (2 next month) and although I've had cramping before on it I've never had sore nipples the entire time I've been on it so it just threw me a little. Anyway they've gone now so I should probably just step away from the tests 😅 x

The boots early ones are the same sensitivity as ICs so wouldn't necessarily have a stronger line...

I'm not sure I can see an obvious line on those photos, but they're a bit blurry so test again in a day or two.

Hey op, I've used these tests alot and never had an indent line on them. Only line Ive ever had was a positive, never even had an evap on them. My vfl on them have looked grey with them being so faint but as the lines got stronger they started turning pink. I would trust these over any other brand x

Yeah, it was difficult to photograph. Having retrieved the test from the bin because I'm a psycho it looks very negative. Yesterday's after a few hours qas clearer today, I can't see the line that was there this morning seems to have disappeared in all honesty. Anyway I'm not even sure I've ovulated, I just never have had sore nipples whilst being on the mini pill these past almost two years and I know I used to get sore nipples are ovulation on and off until AF ans both bfps so just kind of threw me off.

I'll try, keyword being try ans hold off testing till the weekend at least. Being a former (former who am I kidding) poas addict tho we will see how that goes 🙈

@curliegirlie oh I thought the boots early ones were the same sensitivity as a frer around 7-10hcg and most IC’s were 25hcg? X

I thought Boots were 10miu, like One Step, but I've only used them once (and that was snowy white).

So I opened up the boots, can't really see anything anymore. Maybe a wisp of a wisp. The cheapie poundshop one, clear indent. I know it makes them invalid, not to mention their clearly out of the time frame. But interesting to see 3 indent/evaps in a row?

Took the remaining boots test and last cheapie. Still see a shadow on each? Clearer now dried. I think if it was a positive it should have progressed by now tho. So probably evaps? I'm out of tests now so probably will pick some up later after dropping the oldest to nursery.

I do think their evaps but it is strange to get so many. I've had evaps before but not this many over the course of a few days x

Grabbed some tests earlier tried a cheapy home bargains one step. Can see a shadow but I think I can literally always see a shadow on them if I'm completely honest now. They also had a supposedly early response test with apparently a sensitivity of 10mui. Ran into boots again now frer. Different boots this time. Is there a problem with supply or something atm? Picked just one pack of their early ones. I need to stop because I'm becoming obsessed again and we aren't even ttc right now.

Anyway dipped the supposed early one and a cheapie shadow on cheapie. Whisper on early response one so opened it up. (I know invalidates it but can see it clearer) I'll upload now. 2 hour hold. I'll probably yest tomorrow and Sunday with fmu and then accept that I'm nuts ans there isn't anything there lol

Boots test this evening looking exactly the same. Still look lioe an indent. Dissappears after a while only to return again a few hours later. I think I'm just getting dodgy tests tbh. If it was the start of something it should be looking more clearer by now. But it's just the same

Pic taken around 5/6 minutes. Then dissappeard about 15 minutes later. Motblooked since.

@Pombears12 what was the outcome of this? I’m having exactly the same, multiple really faint lines on boots early over the past few days but not getting any darker.

Is it still visible? The white indents tend to disappear quite quickly after the dye makes it way up the stick. I can't work out whether I can see a very thin line or whether it's two ink lines either side of the indent. Hopefully you'll know more either way tomorrow.

I tested with 3 different brands this morning and they're all negative.

I've been getting faint positives for like 2 weeks now and no progression, they remained faint so I'm wondering if it was a chemical for that reason. Either way the line isn't showing on test anymore!

Hello lovelies I know this was a bit of an old post and wondering if I could jump on I'm going to lose my mind.. soo I'll post two pics this the first is my faint positive the next will be what I believe to be an indent I'm so confused I'm due on tomorrow so we will see

@G3mini2 i had terrible indent/evap with these tests, exactly like your pic! On two tests! If I put it under a light you can see it’s grey/evap. I think if your period was due tomorrow it would be a lot darker? And more pink?

I also have the same with boots! Looks like a line but I think it’s an indent :(
