Anyone with positive OPKs near AF due?

Has anyone experienced positive OPKs when AF is nearing? I have never tested much past the few days after ovulation but took an OPK this morning at 10dpo, it was pretty strong. Just took another and again its positive. I wonder does it pick up hormones for AF? Had a BFN yesterday.

I've never tested near my AF tbh... But I did find this on searching about it...

+opk near your due period usually means pregnancy. Go get a test!

I tested positive on OPKs two days before I did on a pregnancy test so fingers crossed for you

I had the strongest OPK before my period. About 2 days later AF arrived. So I’ve def experienced this. Doesn’t happen every time before my period though, I’ve tested it after

I had one lone spec of brownish discharge when I wiped 2 days ago, which I thought might have been from implantation. Had a headache all day yesterday, and then got up 3 times vesting for the loo with cramps during the night so knew I needed to test. I hadn't planned to test until Friday, but I need to take progesterone from positive so no point in delaying that.
