Pregnancy symptoms after miscarriage?

Hello!

I recently had a MMC at 10 weeks, baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks. The bleeding stopped 4 weeks ago and myself and my partner have done a fair amount of BD in the interim. I already have one 2 year old daughter and the pregnancy symptoms I had with her were pretty similar to the ones I had before the MC. I have had back ache and light cramping for a few days now and assumed AF was on the way but they keep coming and going and I haven't had anything yet. Cervix isn't very low either and I'm wondering if it's AF or potentially early pregnancy. My question is, for those who conceived straight after MC or the next month after MC what were your symptoms like? Were they the same as any other pregnancies or different? I'm always curious to hear about others experiences Smile

So I did a FRER today and got a squinter! I don't know when I'm meant to be due on because of the MC so might not have been due for a few more days. What do you reckon? X

Hey, did it come up within the time frame? Just wait 2 days n do another, I see the line, but I got one on frer as well and now all other tests negative so they can be bad for evaps recently... Fingers crossed its the start of a bfp for you though 🤞

Another bfn for me this morning so definitely out this cycle 😪

thejollytrolleydolly · 30/06/2023 10:12

@Kellyaust yeah it came up within about 2 mins. I said to myself if this one is negative then I'm just going to accept it and wait for AF but now I feel like I'm on the hope wagon again. The thing is I just don't know when I'm meant to expect AF because I don't know when I ovulated 😂 app says Sunday but how does it know?! I'll test again tomorrow and see if it's any darker and if it is I'll take a digital on Sunday... wish me luck x

Good luck and let me know 🤞

thejollytrolleydolly · 01/07/2023 10:50

@Kellyaust the frer was telling lies, I had a negative boots test and then I've started spotting this morning so I think I'm out. I'm kind of relieved because this cycle was so long and confusing that at least now I can get back to a normal cycle and knowing where I am with things. I'm normally a 25-27 day cycle girl and this one was 35! How are you? Has AF shown yet or are you still holding on? X

@thejollytrolleydolly jeez those frer are just as bad as clear blue now!!! I won't be using them again that's for sure! AF tuned up full force lastnight so yeah... Its quite a bad one too I'm not moving today the pain is horrendous, well.... At least we know this is our first proper cycle starting and fingers crossed we can conceive our rainbows next month 🤞

thejollytrolleydolly · 01/07/2023 19:18

@Kellyaust it's bloody awful giving people false hope like that! I burst into tears today at work because my manager asked why I seemed down in the dumps today. I just feel so disappointed after really getting my hopes up! Hopefully this gives our body a good clearout so we can start fresh and make a nice bed for our babies next cycle xx

@thejollytrolleydolly I'm feeling your pain, I haven't left my house today I've literally cried all day. I know one thing... I won't be using those tests again.

We are at such similar times in our cycles and what happened to us it's crazy. I'm glad to speak to someone who knows the pain I'm going through 💔

Kellyaust · 01/07/2023 19:53

Also today af is horrendous and raging... The pain and the clots 😩 so tired of it all now

thejollytrolleydolly · 02/07/2023 23:10

I get you, the backache has been awful for me too. Kicking off the sciatica I had after my first baby. The only thing I can say is just try and see the silver lining, when this crap phase is over we can get back to normal with our cycles and try again. The pain is awful but we are strong women and we will get through this. Big hugs to you honey. Take some time for you and do whatever you need to do. Personally I find having a good cry sorts me out so putting on an emotional film helps to get all of that emotional stress out ❤️ I did this after the anniversary of what would have been our 12 week scan I was an emotional wreck anyway so I put on a film that REALLY made me cry and it was strangely cathartic. I hope you're ok xx

@thejollytrolleydolly aw sending hugs back to you too... Yeah I've cried 3 days straight no movie needed... Heads been like there's a rain cloud over it and my body has been weighed down... Amazing what stress and upset can do to your body isn't it. Well when this af is over it's time for us to get back on the trying bus, I know it's early but I can't shake the feeling that it's never going to happen, need a brain rewire. Hope you're doing OK 🤞💖

thejollytrolleydolly · 03/07/2023 20:06

@Kellyaust oh hun it will happen it just knocks you for six when something like this happens because you never think it will happen to you and when it does it really messes with your head! Yes stress does exhaust you and it's a big thing to have to get over so take this time for yourself and give yourself grace. This first AF will always have been the hardest but we will get through it and our rainbow will be on the other side ❤️

It's annoying because I just know even if I do get a BFP I'm going to be stressing the whole first 12 weeks expecting this to happen again 😩 I really hope we both get sticky ones next time xx

@thejollytrolleydolly gosh yeah I was saying the exact same thing to my husband lastnight... Either way is gonna be constant worry... Either you don't get pregnant again so always worrying about that.. Or you do get pregnant again and then always worrying something bad is gonna happen. Miscarriage really does change your life doesn't it. I really hope and pray we come out of this with our rainbows 🌈🤞❤️

Kellyaust · 09/07/2023 07:25

@thejollytrolleydolly hey, just checking in to see how you're doing? 💖

thejollytrolleydolly · 09/07/2023 14:30

@Kellyaust hey hun! So far so good. Ovulation week has begun exactly when flo predicted which always amazes me how it knows 😂 I've already let my OH know that we will be DTD every day this week much to his delight. Flo thinks I will ovulate Thursday so we will see! How are you getting on? X

OP posts:
Kellyaust · 10/07/2023 08:27

Haha I'm sure he won't mind that! Mines the same 😅 my ovulation is predicted on Saturday so we will see what happens and keep our fingers crossed for this cycle 🤞🌈

thejollytrolleydolly · 11/07/2023 08:42

@Kellyaust yes fingers crossed for both of us! Let me know how you get on xx
