Positive ovulation test but late period

Late period (3/4 days) but positive ovulation test. Did a pregnancy test but BFN. Would it have definitely picked it up if i was? I honestly don’t think i’m ovulating again, confirmed it through tests and temps, more than certain i already ovulated. So why’s my period late and pregnancy test negative?

I would say you’re probably ovulating now and maybe having a longer cycle. If you were 3-4 days late then the pregnancy test would show a firm positive.

I'm not normally on this board but your post came up in active for me.

The cycle I conceived my youngest on I didn't ovulate until 4 weeks after my last period. I have no idea why that one cycle was so messed up but it does seem to happen at times. I've never had another cycle that length since then and DC is 15 now.

It ended up a pain for me with midwives going by LMP and not listening to me when I knew when I had conceived though.

I would believe the ovulation test and count however many days from now before doing a preg test again. I think I finally tested positive around 11dpo so that would have been CD39 or thereabouts. Fingers crossed for you.

Cycle day 38 now- no sign of AF. These are my ovulation tests, did i definitely just ovulate then?
