6 days late but neg test? Can I be pregnant?

Hey

Just wondered if anyone experienced anything similar. I did ttc this month. My normally clockwork period is now 5 days late, I feel as if I have symptoms such as nausea, but my last yesterday was negative. Has anyone ever experienced this and had a positive result later? I've never had a late period before except when pregnant with my first and that was a positive 5 days early.

Have you been tracking ovulation?
it could be that you ovulated late which then has an onset of pushing your period late.

usually 14 days after you ovulate is when you’re period would come. I never knew that until I started TTC’ing.
I usually ovulate on CD14 but this month I didn’t ovulate until CD16/17 which has pushed my period to later.

I've never tracked ovulation... My period has come every 29 days for as long as I can remember and especially in the last 4/5 years that I started tracking. I have only ever been late when I was first pregnant... I mean could it be a big fluke that this month I randomly ovulated later and so period is coming later ? I'm not sure, I feel as if it's too much of a coincidence to have a late period the only month I actually ttc...
