Help! Panicking took provera and pregnant

I was given provera by the fertility clinic to induce a period in order to do my next cycle of clomid.

I took a pg test which was negative before starting the (5 day course) tablets. 2 weeks later no bleed so I've done a test and immediately a strong positive line appeared.

I'm now really worried the provera could have harmed the baby. I've had 2 MC so desperately want things to be okay :(

Can anyone offer any words tonight because I won't be able to speak to them until tomorrow x

@Meeting your not the first woman to have taken provera ( also used to delay a period) and then discovered she's pregnant. I'm pretty its well studied and documented and I certainly couldn't find any concluding evidence to say otherwise. I have a friend who took it to delay her period to go on holiday and when she came back she found out was pregnant. Her son is perfectly healthy. I also occasionally take provera to bring on a period and did alot of reading into it as I went into panic mode in the past that I'd taken it too early and the what ifs.
How long did you wait to test? Did you wait the 14 days before testing?

I'm also on clomid. Just completed my second month . Congrats by the way

I didn't have that but in the first four weeks I had my honeymoon and didn't know I was pregnant. I went paragliding, banana boating, had antibiotics for a huge horsefly bite, drank and drunkily had a couple of ciggies. Ate pâté. So many things, I found out and I was so worried but those little babies are so strong and resilient I'm sure all will be fine 🤗
Then with my second about 2 weeks pregnant I went to Alton towers 😂👍🏻 again unknown xxx

Thank you so much, you don't understand how reassuring that is. I am definitely guilty of blindly taking what I'm prescribed without research first so this has made me want to change that moving forwards. Yes I waited the full 14 days as I had symptoms which I thought meant my period was on the way, now I feel like the pregnancy was so obvious! Thank you and best of luck x
